Satele played 2008 with torn labrum
"One factor in center Samson Satele's up-and-down play (according to the Dolphins' thinking) is that he played all season with problems in his right shoulder and was diagnosed this month with a torn labrum. He had recent surgery and should be fine for next season. Satele (295 pounds) and the Dolphins want him to bulk up -- he's shooting for 305-310."

wow
that would explain a lot. I’ve torn my labrum, and you basically have no strength in that arm. There’s pain when it initially tears, but not much between then and the surgery. It’s just pretty much a weak, ineffective limb. If he’s been playing with that, it would’ve definitely played a part in why he looked to be overpowered so much this season.
If he bulks up to 310, and doesn’t lose his quickness, he’ll be perfect for us. His problem right now is that, under 300lbs, he’s too small to match up with the big NT’s in the division. Putting on 15lbs would change that, because it closes the gap between his weight and the NT’s, and he can allow his superior quickness to get leverage off the ball.

Let Al Johnson play center..
Let Satele battle Donald Thomas for the RG spot.
