Well, after nearly 86 hours of tents, airports, and one 747, I have successfully returned to Ft. Hood, Texas. Oh, is it nice to be home.
Now, some random things I want to thrown out there. Targets of Opportunity without the Prespective.
Yes, I want Boldin. I don't know if we can pay the price to get him, but damn do I want him.
No, I don't want Ray Lewis. Why? Because I don't like him. But, I didn't like Chad Pennington either a year ago. Guess that worked out.
Dear God, Parcells, Ireland, and.or Sparano, please, please, please sign Julius Peppers.
Guess I'm not cool enough to get a cool guy decoder. Maybe it's with my cammo'd FP Club jacket.

Yesterday, Mel Kiper said that he re-ranked the QBs of the 2003 draft class as such: Roethlisburger, Rivers, Eli Manning. Can't really disagree with that...Ben just keeps winning, Rivers has huge numbers even if he hasn't won a Super Bowl, and Manning has been inconsistent at times. All three have been great. That was another good QB draft class. But, my one thought was...Roethlisberger has only been in the league 5 years? I know he won the Super Bowl in his second year, which was 3 years ago, so adds up to 5 years, but doesn't it just seem like he has been in Pittsburgh forever already? If he is only 5 years into his career, that team is going to be good for a really long time.
I've always thought Jeff Garcia was a whinney little bi***. Guess I was right. "Gruden was so mean to me." Oh shut up. Without him, you would be retired right now.
Has anyone else noticed that there seem to be Star Trek advertisements everywhere on the interweb? Guess they want people to get ready to go to a May movie.
Matty is all about the auto-blog isn't he? Can't blame him, and I don't think he should be here all the time - I would like to think he really does have a life (FXF, can you confirm that Matty does have a life for us?). It's just a statement.

The worst part of the whole thing was being away from my wife and son. I can deploy and fight all day, but I can’t be awway from my family like that. That’s he hard part.

Peppers in a 3-4 is an OLB. He’s small for the line. He could do both though. He’s great, but would 2 #2’s get him? Using 2 #2’s would be stupid.
Boldin? I like him. He could even be your QB in the Wildcat formation and he’s pretty fast.

I haven't been on here as much as I would like either.
Don’t have a computer in my office yet, so I only end up getting on briefly each night, or if I get a break sometime, I use my iPhone to read what’s going on, though I usually don’t post from the iPhone.
