As we all know, Anquan Boldin had a contract dispute back in August and demanded a trade after Larry Fitzgerarld got a huge contract extension. Boldin said he was in a no relationship mode with coach Wishenhut and that his situation couldn´t be solved. The trade didn´t happen and he went on to have a pro-bowl year along with LFitz. When he was injured in the season, after the _______ game when he got hit by a ____ player and had to have facial reconstruction, Steve Breaston stood up and proved to be a very dependable player. While Boldin was a professional throughout the season and wasn´t a nuisance for the group, he was a long shot from being a staff favorite. (while we got Brandon London running around with Ray Lewis, they have the luxury to second guess Boldin, go figure). So the whole thing collapsed yesterday during the NFC Championship game. First we saw Kurt Warner giving crap to his OC in national tv. And that was that, but then, with the game on the line, the Cardinals used only one receiver on 9 of their last 14 plays, and Anquan was not that receiver. Futhermore, he got benched in favor of Breaston, because the coaching staff didn´t feel he was 100% ready to play, which is a funny thing when the player, the one that can feel if he is ready to go or not, said he was. Thus, Boldin flipped out on his OC in the sideline, asking for an explanation of why he had been taken out, to the point that a teammate had to restrain him. Why do we care? Because we all knew Anquan Boldin could be a salary cap casualty at the end of the season, but now it seems like the Cardinals might want to cut ties with him. If he doesn´t play a relevant role in the Super Bowl, wait for him demaning to be traded.
