Harvin is an athlete to be honest with you...
he’s a more of a running back than a WR but he can work both succesfully

well i ma little biased and skeptical of QB's and receivers outside of the SEC
SEC teams IMO are the best chance any college kid is gonna get to feel what an NFL defense is gonna feel like so poeple like crabtree going up for 400 yds a game not realistic to me

Crabtree is a specimen though. I’m skeptical of guys like Bradford and Harrell because of the Big 12 connection, but Crab is the real deal.

lol all im saying is
USC is always the medias golden child and I just fail to see how Sanchez who lost to and unranked oregon state is suposed to be given props for anything
I don't really put too much stock in their college numbers though
I try to judge them on their own.. Sanchez has a good arm and good mechanics, which leads to accuracy. He’s able to go through his progressions and doesn’t stare down his WR’s.
I know what you’re saying, but I don’t base that on his numbers and highlights vs crappy teams lol

USC this entire season hasnt had a spectacular season as a whole
Sanchez himself has been stifled in important games he’s good but i think he needed to stay in USC another year Bradford and Stafford even McCoy have shown more consistency than Sanchez. But im a little anti USC so you gotta take that into stock too :P

Well Bradford and McCoy played in those wide open spread offenses that make QB’s look like Superheroes, and Stafford will be the first QB taken in the draft. I put more stock in guys that play in NFL style offenses because they learn more NFL skills in college than guys that take snaps in the shotgun every play and have 5 WR’s running around all over the place while they stand in the pocket for 20 minutes lol.
He probably could’ve used another year in school, but just about every QB could use more college experience. I think he’ll be best served to sit a year before being thrown to the fire, but in time I think he’ll up being successful.

Especially Big 10/12 and their ‘ungodly’ numbers, as far as Sanchez and Bradford goes who knows really, those that where predicted to be blessed by the football god’s in the NFL never amount to much i think time will tell and as I posted earlier on a comment about beck, I believe any QB can be groomed to be good in taking over the reigns of a team. The equation that one must take into account then is time(exp) * leadership = to a good QB what the right amount (x) is well thats the million dollar question!
and Crabtree is good but like I siad
as far as athleticism goes I think Harvin has more of an Athlete than just a WR

if we signed him for 4 years, I think we expect him to fill the need, meaning we won’t be signing a guy for millions, and we probably won’t draft a guy high at the same position. If it was 1 year for the minimum, I wouldn’t say anything. The fact that he’s 4 years over a mil a season says something to me about him..

I think if we pass on him at number 1, we won’t get him. But it’s becoming more realistic that we could take a WR in round 1. I’d like to see some other needs filled in FA so we can draft skill positions, but I doubt that, because I think we’re still gonna see a big man heavy draft this season…
