Jason Garrett is overrated.
It seems like Jason Garrett has had a halo around his head for the last couple of years. Dallas pays something like $3 million for him to be offensive coordinator, making a quick strike so other teams don't grab him as head coach. Then this year he's interviewed all over the place and commentators always refer to him being one of these young gun brilliant dudes.
So that got me to wondering: what has he ever really accomplished? He was Miami's QB coach when the team sucked and they got nothing out of that position. Then he inherited a juggernaut offense at Dallas and it's only gotten worse.
I'm probably wrong about this, so somebody explain it to me.
I was wrong about Pasqualoni, because it sure as hell seemed like he destroyed Syracuse, but dude ended up being brilliant this year and now HIS name is out there for the KC job. So that's another question: who do we get if Pasqualoni leaves?

Bowles
He’d take over at Defensive Coordinator since it was basically between him and Pasqualoni for the DC job.

I, too think he is overrated, because he may have all the brains in the world,
but Football is a life style in which, at the end, all comes down to who has the bigger balls and heart and leadership, and I think that in that category, JG doesnt even make to the top 30 in the league.

I dunno
Last year, I would have fought you to death because even though he had/has such great playmakers, he made them gel and they pretty much blew out every team the faced. I think the reason I really took interest was because my deep passion for fantasy. Last year, if you had Romo, TO, or Witten, you def know what I am talking about.
However, you do have a point. The team has barely changed and I feel they really sank this year. There is no reason for it except that the NFL, known for being a copycat league, just sniffed out what they did. Its the O Cord’s job to change things up just enough to keep teams guessing. He obviously failed to do that so yes, he looks really bad right now.
As of now, I would probably lean to agree with you but we shouldnt overlook last year.
Let this season BE GINN!

Sparano was the one calling the offensive plays
when he was in Dallas, not Garett.
