ESPN's Chris Mortensen is reporting that the Dolphins have let go O-Line Coach Mike Maser.
I am a little shocked over this move as I didn't expect anyone to get fired on the Dolphins staff this offseason but after looking at the production of this unit in the base offense you can understand why this move was made. They must have really not liked what they saw on tape when they were finished evaluating the talent.
I wonder how much of this also has to do with Sparano being a former O-Line Coach and really expecting more out of our talent.
Does anyone know who could possibly replace him for the Dolphins?
**UPDATE by Matty I**: Despite some thinking that Tony Sparano, a former OL coach, might look to take on those duties as well, the Dolphins will indeed hire a replacement. As "thatonedude" pointed out in the comments below, the early front-runner to replace Maser is Giants assistant offensive line coach Dave DeGuglielmo.
