2009 Regular Season Predictions (Playoff Edition)
Miami Dolphins 2009 Regular Season
Home:
W 27-13 Buffalo
W 20-17 New England
W 24-14 N.Y. Jets
W 27-17 Houston
L 21-24 Indianapolis
L 16-23 Pittsburgh
W 28-21 New Orleans
W 20-16 Tampa Bay
Away:
W 31-13 Buffalo
L 17-27 New England
W 17-10 N.Y. Jets
W 21-10 Jacksonville
L 13-27 Tennessee
W 23-21San Diego
L 24-31 Atlanta
W 24-14Carolina
My Perspective: So this would mean the Dolphins go 11-5 again, most likely into the playoffs unless they pull a Patriots. I do believe we would have beaten the Colts today, but next year I think, we have more positions to improve at than they do and therefore they won the game. It could change. Another swing game could be our home game against New England, who knows, they could be back to the Undefeated status and we would be no match, but I think we have caught up enough. Stay tuned for the next editions.

Definitely a little too optimistic.
I think the 2009 Dolphins will be a better team than the 2008 Dolphins, but I think we’ll regress in the wins dept. I wouldn’t be terribly, terribly surprised if we go 0 for 8 on the road next year.

I didn't say that we would...
… I just said that it wouldn’t be unheard of. Divisional games are odd in that they are often toss-ups due to the fact that the teams know each other so well and tend to play with added intensity that wouldn’t be there for say, a game against the Bengals.

No worries.
I’m still cheering for 16-0!

Way too early ... let the FA move around and Draft happen 1st
Still way to early to see how these teams will be next season. So much left with the draft and FA and injuries that happen during the season ect…
Some of these teams have major players that might be moving next season

"yes he did. and Jersquall recut it to look like Marino was boning her."

I'll play along!
Let’s assume the Phins AS IS versus the other teams AS IS
Then adjust per FA changes, drafts, and injuries.
I think we did this last time way before Farve to the Jets and Pennington to the Phins.
It’s just a guess/estimate anyway, so why not?
Home:
W 20-12 Buffalo
W 35-34 New England (no bogus PI on Moss)
W 23-6 N.Y. Jets (Kellen Clemens et al at QB)
W 28-23 Houston (we finally figure out how to stop the QB draw)
W 21-14 Indianapolis (Run and play keep-away from Peyton)
W 28-27 Pittsburgh (Sparano goes for it from the 2)
W 38-35 New Orleans (our offense outscores them and tires out their D)
W 20-16 Tampa Bay
Away:
W 16-13 Buffalo (Fins have learned to win in cold weather)
L 21-24 New (Brady/Cassel leads a game-winning drive)
W 17-10 N.Y. Jets
W 21-10 Jacksonville
L 13-16 Tennessee
W 23-21San Diego
L 24-31 Atlanta
W 24-21 Carolina
13-3 Subject to change…
