I'm already looking forward to next week.
I wish it were Sunday already!
The close finish against a possibly playoff bound Jets team has renewed my hope that we are going to do well this year. Once Sparano stops trying to be so predictably unpredictable, I think we're going to see a lot of Ws in the win column. Yes, our receivers aren't that great, but really it was the play calling that was our down fall. If we had thrown some short screen passes early to open the run, and then if we had run hard on them with Ricky and Ronnie (NO PATRICK), it would have opened up the secondary to allow some receivers to get open. I agree that Ginn was a huge disappointment with his invisibility and his timid attempts at punt returns, but I'm going to chalk that up to game 1 jitters. I don't think he's used to being in the #1 anticipated game of the week. Even Pennington looked nervous in his first two or three series, and he's a long time veteran. I'll reserve my harsh judgements on Ginn until at least next week.

Card Sharks
Good philosophy! lol The Cards are going to try and ball control us. When they do go too the air, they have a smart vet at qb, and a good reciever in Boldin, 8 for 82 against the Niners. Edgerrin will be in workhorse form. They are 1-0, its opening day at their house, and they smell blood in the water with us being 0-1. Practice up boys and bring your best game. Coaches, fix things quick.

Not me
While I am looking forward to the game next week, i have to say my optimism has dwindled. To me our biggest weakness is still in the secondary. I’m afraid of what Warner and Fitzgerald and Bolquin will do to us. I don’t think we will be able to stop them.

Do you feel Arizona's O-line is stronger
or weaker than The Jets? Our secondary made a couple key mistakes, but I don’t see it as detrimental honestly. That play-action from Favre was flawless. You’re not going to see that kind of play from The Cards. Other than that and the lob, I say our secondary was vast improved from last year. We will beat Arizona.

We can get to the QB. We went up against
a tough OL and DL and we got to the QB. I expect us to do even better next week. Im not worried about the defense as much as I am the offense and special teams. We have to win the special teams battle and run the football. I think we will do both next week.

If the Phins can't even beat the Jets....
I don’t like their chances against many teams this year.
Cards > Jets.
Seriously?

Great Post
Warner is VERY capable and no words are needed to describe Fitz and Bouldin but our D put pressure on a very cagy QB behind a good OL so I’m not concerned about the D.
I’m much more concerned about our O and IF Henning will realize that EVERYONE knows we want to run the ball so they are going to stack to prevent it SO,as you said, you loosen them up with play action, when you would normally run the ball INSTEAD OF when youre behind with the clock ticking, short passes and screens AND THEN you can run it down their throats at will but not until you back them off the LOS.
