How can bill pass on a guy like kevin smith

What i dont understand,Is that bill loves big strong backs and thats what kevin smith is......Smith is from are backyard only about 3 hours away from miami...The guy played his collage ball at ucf in orlando...He also was the ncaa leading rusher and in the begging last yearmock draft had the guy goen in the late 1st round.....We got 2 running backs as late picks and there was just so many times we could of pick the guy and so many teams past on him for awaile....And looks who gets him the damn lions....So i believe that was are biggest mistake of the draft,Not getten this guy,Hes gonna be the biggest steal out the draft this year...Ill say this much by the end of his carrer i say this guy does better dan darren mcfadden in oakland............

Yeah but if we get him we have to do it in the third round which means we lose kendall langford who is already a starter in a position we needed a player in we didn’t need another running back that high and people are saying langford could be the “steal” of this years draft.

come on man...

first off im suprised that we picked a running back to begin with… yes given he will be a good pro but we didnt need a running back especially not in the 3rd round.

Like everyone said...

…drafting him would have meant either no Henne or no Langford. Not worth it when RBs are a dime a dozen and we already have 2 good ones.

Secondly, the best RB to come out of this draft will end up being Ray Rice.

WHAT THE HECK IS WRONG WITH YOU

Rice might be the 2nd best back – but any true PHIN PHAN KNOWS PARMELE will be the best back in this draft!!!!!!!

well maybe the 2nd best after McFAdden…

You should be forced to watch the Pats and the Jets play 16 times each for that mistake!!!

All im tryen to say is this

Even if your deep at something that doesnt mean you should let smebody slide that looks like hes gonna be a damn good player…And how i see it miami do have good backs…But cmeon realy ronnie the guy just came froma big injury and you dont know how he can end up…Rickey just cant be trusted thats how i see it…..Tell me this i now the guy has to be good if he was a ncaa leading rusher, and he was a 4th round pick and starting for the lions…..I guess i just fell this way cuz i seen the guy play alot in collage…..I said the same thean with devin hester,I seen the guy in alot of collages games and i knew he was gonna be speacil wit his speed……

He was a third round pick.

We traded spots in that round so the Lions could get him. We have Ricky, Ronnie, and the sleeper Jalen Parmele. We are fine. Kendall Langford is doing well and it is better to have offensive and defensive line depth than to have running back depth. It all starts up front.
