Jason Taylor's First Non-Dolphin Game
JT's stats: 2 tackles and was run on all night long. No sacks, no pressures, no hurries, no batted balls. I know he is coming off of a knee injury but it didn't look like that was an issue.
The Redskins, with all of the big names looked awful. I wonderful if our Fins will have a better record than them this year? Sparano/Pennington should manage the 4th qtr better than that at least.

I would be so damn happy if the Fins had a better record
But it was only one game. I will say that I was stunned at how bad the Skins did look, though. And Jim Zorn looked lost at times on the sidelines.

rookie head coach
very questionable time management/play calling at the end of the game.
same thing with Cam last year. he wasnt up for it.
hopefully Sparano will prove to be a better gameday coach in his rookie campain

I hasn't seen anyone look that bad...
on roller skates since Travolta in the 70’s!!
Backwards is very unbecoming for a defensive end.

I know we're supposed to be rooting for JT
But I keep finding myself unable to do it. I want the Redskins to crash n burn for 2 reasons.
1) Because the worse they do the better our 2nd rounder trade (for JT) becomes.
2) Because JT said in so many words said that he wants to play for a playoff caliber team, then pretty much shit on the team that helped get him to this point.
So yes, I thought last nights game was great. And I thought it was even funnier that Taylor was invisible. I am a Fin fan 1st, then a player fan.
ZT on the other hand had no choice, so Ill be rooting for him until he retires.

I'm not rooting for him.
He handle the offseason debacle like a giant child. The ad was classy, but those few hundred dollars from a millionaire don’t make up for him blatantly wanting to leave Miami, while telling us it was the coaches fault. He had a taste of Hollywood and it changed him. Oh well, I no longer root for him.
I hope Zach Thomas makes it to the Superbowl this year.

taylor/skins
i live in the dc area and thats pretty much all i get on sportstalk radio. i was so happy last night that the giants just attacked taylor and that right side. taylor was manhandled the whole game and i loved every second of it.

My loyalty to JT was lost when he demanded the trade
and turned his back on the fins. Now if I watch the Skins play it will be to watch JT get steam rolled and to pray for a high 2nd rd pick. JT is now Brady in my eyes (Except Brady has loyalty to the team that raised him)

yeah he was slow...tired looking
and their 2nd rd pick is gonna be tasty.

Looks like Hollywood
may have wussified him a bit.

ironic
he wanted to leave to leave the dolphins after we failed to live up to expectations and had major QB issues and an overrated defense. well, that’s just where he went to. that team is going nowhere. probably going down.
after watching the dolphins preseasons games, i am glad JT is gone. we needed to slash and burn and rebuild. now the team feels fresh and young. if we had JT there, it wouldn’t feel that way. getting a 2nd roundg pick for him was great!

They’re putting him at LE when his natural position is RE, What a dumb idea.

Thats good for what we let jt go for
Yea i believe that jt would of helped alot on are team but i believe that the guy is know passed his prime and hes just not gonna be that dominating like he once was…..So for getten a 2nd rounder for the guy looks like a great deal in our point,N also im sure he well have sme injury problem this season…Just look at the facts the guy is getten older,Just came off of a serious injury,And on top of that wasnt even traning this offseason,And only gives himself 2 years left to play in the nfl….Hes on the down side of his carrer and i think from now on at best hell be an average player that applys some pressure nothin serious anymore….
