NY media jumping on the Dolphins' bandwagon?
OK. So the title of this post is a little misleading - that I will admit. But hey, I wanted to get your attention.
However, my assertion above isn't too far off. At least one member of the NY media is indeed giving the Dolphins props. Dave Hutchinson of the Newark Star-Ledger writs the following:
I got some bad news for the Jets, though. I was talking to one of my Miami guys and he tells me RB Ricky Williams is back and he's running wild. Williams has surplanted Ronnie Brown as the starter and will likely get nearly 20 carries.
As I wrote today, Williams is a notorious Jets killer, having rushed for 530 yards and five touchdowns on 131 carries in six career games against the Jets.
Williams is just what QB Chad Pennington needs. Chad can give him the ball 20-25 times, completed 16 of 22 passes and you have a Dolphins win.
First off, let me just say that I wouldn't read too much into Hutchinson's "Miami guy" because we all know this regime isn't giving out info like that. In fact, Tony Sparano wouldn't even tell us who would start at running back, instead telling us to "buy a ticket" to find out. So this is just an educated guess.
But how about that formula for a win that Hutchinson provides. Sound good to you? I'll even add to throw in 10 to 15 carries for Ronnie Brown as well. That's exactly the recipe for success not only this Sunday but every Sunday for the Dolphins.

As long as there aren't any stupid mistakes...
this one is in the bag for us, Matty. You know the Jet’s have to be nervous about playing us. Nearly everyone who isn’t a Fin-biased talking head/ sportswriter has clearly stated that this is NOT the 1-15 team from last year. And with the formula that you know we will use (ground & pound, set Penny up for some easier passes), it’s hard to imagine there not being a W for the Fins
we like Jet Blue, we stay hella high
Surplanted isn't a word.
He obviously meant “supplanted” but I guess you can’t expect too much from a Jets fan.

And even though he is coming off an injury this year....
Ronnie Brown wasn’t too bad against the Jets last year. I think that was the game that he started to show just how good he can be: “exploded for 112 yards and two TDs on 23 attempts and six receptions for 99 yards and a TD in week three contest at N.Y. Jets (9/23).”
And dont 4get our OL
was half the line that it should be this year.
Turn 'em loose
I can see heavy doses of both Ricky and Ronnie, with even a dash of Parmalee. If they try to stack the box the first half with a “beat us passing” attitude. They are going to be hating life come late 3rd and then into the 4th quarter. I just think it makes great headlines…“Comeback Player Shines For A Team Thats Coming Back”….“brett favre getting rest after early game concussion”

Poor Jason Taylor.
Jim Zorn looks like Cam last year and the Skins will be finishing last in the NFC East
JT didn't want to stay with the Fins because they were rebuilding
but it looks like he might have ended up on an even worse team.
