Week 4 Open Thread

WEEK 4

I really hate the bye week.  How can you enjoy a football Sunday when the Dolphins don't play?  It's a crime, really.

But I guess this just gives us another week to bask in the afterglow of last Sunday's win up in New England.

Dolphins 38 - Patriots 13

Nope.  I'm still not tired of typing that.  I may never be.

Anyways, use this thread to discuss any of today's developments around the NFL.  A few of the games that I'm personally interested in today include the Jets/Cardinals, Chargers/Raiders, and the Redskins/Cowboys.

Enjoy your football Sunday, everyone!

It does suck...

Usually i have my buddies over, and watch their teams on the Sunday Ticket. We order a bunch of food, my wife goes out with her girlfriends, and drink, and watch our fantasy scores. I can’t wait until week 5.

Now is the time- the time to rise up from the depths of Hell and stake our claim back on top of the AFC East...Look out Gaytriots here comes Jake Long and the Phins

Who to cheer for and against

Seeing as we have a week off, here is who I’ll be cheering for and cheering against. First the division. Have to go for Arizona (jets) and St. Louis (bills).
Then….because we can’t have any threat against our undefeated record, these guys need to lose one.
Ravens, Bills, Cowboys, Broncos, Giants and Titans.
Thats my list and I’m stickin’ too it.

Worst. Divison. Ever.

QB watch

Looks like Matt Schaub will be keeing his job. He’s near 200 yards with 2 TDs/0 int.

Derek Anderson looks shakier than ever: 53 yds and 1 int in the middle of the third. As a Kellen Winslow owner let me tell you how much this sucks.

cards waking up

watching the cards vs jets in stream from france……. watch out guys : cards are waking up, if they steal the game, it could be a nice bargain for our division business…

tough division

Bills look good, Jets look ok. I don’t think we really need to concern ourselves with the division this year. Next year more likely.

Camarillo....

since it’s been pretty quiet lately on this thread, i wanted to throw this to you guys : who is gonna be the receiver #1 at the end of our season ? ‘cause the way things are going, he’s my #1……. any opinions ?

again : sorry for my english : remember : i may be the only frenchfinfan !

French Dolfan since 1989

by FRED'83 on Sep 28, 2008 4:01 PM EDT reply reply actions actions   0 recs

could be Camarillo...

… but that kinda says that our receiving core sucks if that true, cus he’s just not breakaway talent in my opinion.

bring 'em on

It’ll be in our house, and anything is possible. One thing I’m kinda waiting to see…..is how many more fans will be at the game since we beat New England. I bet Mr. H was thanking his lucky stars for that win. Had we lost, you would have seen tumbleweeds and cobwebs in the stands when you tuned in to watch.

the infield dirt will be gone by next sunday. cant stand that thing. costs us a few key injuries over the years

I Think

that we need to be able to get our runnning game going against san diego…. which will be key against them to keep the ball out of the hands of there offense. and I am hoping that porter has another good game and puts a lot of pressure on rivers.
