What it means to be a Miami Dolphins fan.
I have been a loyal Dolphins fan since I was 11 years old, I am now 36. It has been one of the best experiences of my life growing up watching guys like Marino, Clayton, Duper, Stevenson, Webb, and a lot of the older guys too. I think you get my point with all the talent that has come through Miami. Need I mention some of the greatest games ever played involved the Dolphins, remember the 1981 playoff game against the Chargers WOW!! The flea flicker was truly amazing. Kellen Winslow being carried off the field. The Monday night game against the Bears in 1985 who will ever forget that one! Then there was the first game Marino ever played in against the Raiders, we lost but we found a quarterback. The 1984 Super Bowl ? I thought we would see Dan in many more of those but it just wasn't to be.
I watched without fail and every year we were so close but we could never crest the mountain, players came and went but no ring. The Bills killed us! And you would think Buffalo with four Super Bowls, they could bring ONE home. We have the best rivalries in football, the Jets, and the BIlls, there is no question about that hands down .
But Miami started to really fall apart toward the end of Don Shula's career. Jimmie Johnson wasn't the answer and Wannstadt basically made Marino retire because he didn't want him. We had Taylor and Thomas the new stars, we had an outstanding defense. But we never seemed to have both during the Marino era until the end, and there was never a running game . And now here we are 2008, and still no ring. But I wouldn't trade these guys for anything. Another great game was last year when we won our only game of the year it was like what I think winning the Super Bowl would be like. I will continue to support the Dolphins even when the chips are down and I honestly I think they can go all the way every year inspite of the odds, hence the saying "Any given Sunday". And not "IF" but "WHEN" it does happen, man it's gonna be SWEET!! And thats what it means to be a true Dolphin fan.

I would have to figure out a way to do it, maybe take a picture of the sign, hang the banner and snap another shot, like a before and after.

Dolphan VS a Jet fan
I grew up with the Dolphins since 1980 and don’t regret one year since. Idolizing Marino was one of the best things to happen in my life. What better role model to help you get through adversity and encourage you to pick yourself up time after time.
That firey stare from Marino’s eyes glancing up at the scoreboard with the last 10 seconds running off the clock. Trailing by 5 points and painfully watching the opposition mockingly take a knee, you knew that if Danny stepped on the field once more he would surely win that game. No doubt.
Unfortunately, Danny came up short more often than we would have liked, but fortunately for us we get many second chances in life. Thanks #13!
I live in NJ and have to deal with these a-hole Jet fans all the time, they could not possible phathom what I have just described beacuse they are so used to hating their own team more than supporting them. Ever see them on draft day? Hysterical,.. have another TE jerkoffs. Now that they opened up their pocketbooks to win a championship, it will be so rewarding to watch them fall flat once again. Watch any Jet’s fan for a few plays, there is so much saddness in them. If you really want to be depressed come to the Meadowlands and watch them collectively bitch and moan amid a sea of Esiason and Foley Jerseys.
F’ the Jets !!!!!
F the proppelers!!
And, even that Marino came short more often on games, he DID make plenty of comebacks & all of them were SWEET!!!
I will see the Dolphins win a SUPER BOWL before i die(21 years and counting)
THERAPY...
