you know these guys have a plan
unlike last years admin… these guys don’t just sort of do things… from the start there has been a plan, granted they’ll never say there is one, to get henne in as the starter… my guess is it’s going to be the seattle game…
they have 3 in a row at home (2 of which are winnable) followed by St Louis on the road… the team likely will be 0-9 by then and Henne will have played enough that the team will be receptive to going with the rookie…

at least that would be how I would do it
but i’d also take the walsh montana approach… as d/day comes closer i’d schedule Henne to play more each game..
say the 2 min drill at the end of the first half the next 2 weeks or 3 weeks… maybe starting the 3rd qr weeks 8 & 9 and a
playing a series or two at different points of the other games…

If Pennington
keeps getting planted, his bad shoulder will blow out and Henne will be in there soon.

i know everyone wants to see henne but
i just dont want to see him ruined like Beck was last year, and penny is not playing that bad, like trent was playing last year b4 he got injuired. I hope that he doesnt start until week 16 or 17, when he is fully prepared and there is no pressure on him at all. If he gets a little taste, getting in a couple games until the end of the season he will be more prepared to play, and than can go over tape and learn from the last game of two of the season and be the starter for next season

oh please
I am so tired of this lame arguement… the good QB’s rise up and learn from the experience…
would you rather have t edwards or B quinn right now….
