One win could change everything…
So now we join 9 other NFL teams that are 0 and 2. There is much football yet to see this season. I am still excited about these boys making the step to being men. I remember watching last season thinking that it can’t get any worse, little did I know, it still can.
The one thing I didn’t count on was how poorly coached this team is. I don’t blame Sparano specifically, but I think it is the whole staff. With that being said the whole team has room for improvement albeit Coaches, Players, Play calling, Execution, Use of timeouts. I do think it will get better in time, but I think the fans, myself included, are ready for the losing to stop now. If we win 5 games for the season I would be extremely happy ( especially if one of those 5 is the jets). So sit back, grab a cold one and try not to expect much of anything, then slowly and painfully one day my friends victory will be ours. If we can just win one game it could change everything for the better.

One win ?
If the Dolphins manage to win 5 games this year that would be cause for celebration… a parade down Dan Marino Blvd. perhaps.
I’ll take 3 wins and be happy. We’ve got another 3 or 4 years of cellar-dwelling, all the while hoping that current management knows how to build a winning football team

I agree, 3 or 4 wins would be just about right...
…I would re-direct you to the fanposts by LittleNicky21 and Neo over on the right. This is what rebuilding is all about. Unfortunately, it should have come about 12 years ago when JJ took over, but he was only interested in rebuilding the defense. Then he dumped Wannstedt on us and…..well, you already know the rest. “Slowly” is inevitable, but “painfully” doesn’t have to be. Just salute the Torbors, Goodmans, and Crockers and thank them for their time. We’ll remember them fondly when we (and they) are watching Coach Sparano and QB Henne hoist the Lombardi trophy in 3 years. Take heart in the development of the young offensive line, Kendall Langford, Philip Merling, Henne, Davone Bess, Anthony Fasano, and (dare I say it?) David Martin. Start reading about all the top college LBs and DBs we’ll be drafting over the next two years. Take a look at the FA wide receivers coming on the market.
Slow? Yes. Painful? No. Leave the pain behind —that was for last year. Now look to the future. It’s coming.
Go Dolphins.
If I had a tagline, this would be it.
but it did
only getting one win brought in a whole new admin!!!!
moved the franchise forward leaps and bounds.
