Wednesday Morning Practice Reports

The Dolphins have 2 practices today, with the first one now having concluded.  Not really anything exciting, as "special situations" were worked on for the most part.

PALM BEACH POST PRACTICE REPORT
Highlights include:

-Harvey Greene, Miami's PR guy, says Dan Marino will not be on DWTS
-Kendall Langford lines up as 1st team DE once again, while Roth is working as an OLB

Two-a-days

I’ve been reading reports and opinion pieces that say two-a-days are going out of style in the NFL due to the bruising and tiring nature of the regular season etc. Many teams only have two or three all camp. However two-a-days seem to be the norm for us. Is this going to continue once preseason games start? Is this a good thing?

I actually think it is, even if the experts would disagree. It’s not like we have many aging stars who we need to protect so they’re still fresh in December. Our players are mostly young, full of energy, and most importantly they need a LOT of practice and instruction. So as far as I’m concerned they should practice these kids into the ground until they’re up to scratch. (Receivers, I’m looking at you.)

Agree

Keep the two-a-days. You want to see how guys perform when they are tired and beat down. There’s a quote that goes, “The game is won in the preparation, not in the game itself.”

Praise for Langford....

I was listening to ESPN radio and i have no idea who it was but some reporter said Langford shocked him and looked like a 1st rd pick. His words were “You WILL know his name in 3 yrs”....also they were talking about Henne being the future and they actually said Beck would be traded…even though i disagree strongly.

Will Allen is a nice player….he has “swagger”. I LIKE THAT

McCown….after i see his name i ignore everything after it. Im jujst not excited about him….ive seen him before…last time his name was ….Brian Griese…Gus Ferotte….Trent Green…Daunte Culppeper…......

This time we got the young guys….play them

Its Sunday afternoon.....do you know where your beer is?
