Justin Peelle sent packing along with a few others!
Justin Peelle is gone along with Lex Hilliard check out the link. I completely agree with letting Peelle go, but getting rid of a draft pick was a little strange to me. I was also shocked to here Reagan Mauia is no longer with the team, any thoughts on this? For the record I liked Justin but he just didn't get it done this pre-season and right now the Dolphins are about change. http://myespn.go.com/blogs/afceast/0-2-170/Dolphins--Cutdown-analysis.html

Mauia, not so wow-eee
When first drafted, I kind of hoped he would be better. But, he isn’t. His hands are so bad, he couldn’t feel up a passed out prom date.

Wow!
You gotta love how big of an asshole Tim Graham is in that article:
bq. “Biggest surprises: One sign of a bad team is their inability to cut good players. They don’t have enough of them to have a surplus. While the New England Patriots were cutting starters such as CB Fernando Bryant and LB Victor Hobson, the Dolphins’ most-experienced deduction was TE Justin Peelle, who has 39 starts in his six-year career. The fact a rebuilding team would cut a draft pick, sixth-round RB Lex Hilliard, also was surprising.”
Yeah, because Fernando Bryant and Victor Hobson are such talented players and New England’s secondary and linebackers are so strong that the team unfortunately had to let them go. Once again, I can’t wait until we shock the sh*t out of teams this year. Let’s play the role of underdog and upset some teams and so called “sports experts.” I don’t know how the “experts” can talk so badly about us considering we are showing much more improvement based off the last three preseason games. Preseason may mean nothing, but our team gives many more reasons for optimism this year than last. Like the fact that we can actually put together offensive drives and make plays on defense. Last year, the only preseason game I got to watch was the Kansas City game and there was literally no offense except for Beck’s touchdown run. This year there are actually reasons to pay attention. I am thankful for the Phinsider. I hardly even check ESPN anymore. Although we have a bias as Dolfans, at least many of us put logic behind our optimism.
