Two cuts
From the Sun sentinel (I guess it happened yesterday, so my apologies if you saw it already):
Roster moves
The Dolphins waived T Reuben Riley less than a week after signing him. They also waived Aaron Halterman, who tweaked his back earlier this week.
So now we let the speculation begin. Glenn? Carter? Farve? Yada yada yada. I'm sure they'll bring in another OT to replace Riley since we're so thin, and I'm comfortable with the TE depth, so who knows who they'll bring in for Halterman

I don't want to squash speculation and conversation but ....
The Dolphins only had 79 players on their roster to begin with. So nobody got cut so that Glenn or anybody else could take their spot.
How the Phins only had 4 tackles in camp baffled me. Cutting one sounds crazy. They have to sign another OT before their first preseason game or you end up with Long and Carey spending way too much time on the field. I’m guessing Long was already going to see a ton of time. What if somebody gets hurt during the game? do you really want Carey playing in the fourth quarter of a preseason game?
Anyone know if Darilek, Ndukwe, Spanos or Byrne could play any OT if they get desperate for bodies in the preseason?
Are you positive on the roster count?
I would have sworn that Anthony Anderson put us at 80, but I can’t find a running roster for training camp anywhere, bah.
Did you mean WR Anthony Armstrong?
The roster on the Dolphins site lists him, but still sits at 77 players after the cuts.
That's the one
Sorry about that, I couldn’t remember the last name so I pulled it from Harvey’s last SS blog
We need WR help...
bad. If we really thin Ginn, Hagan, Wilford and co. are good enough to win more than 4 games we are kidding ourselves.
Its Sunday afternoon.....do you know where your beer is?
Maybe when
we get good quarterback play we can think about winning more than 4 games.
