Around SBN: My First Fight: Diego Sanchez

Community Projections: Ricky & Ronnie

It's time to finish up our projections.  And we'll do so with Ricky Williams and Ronnie Brown.

But first, a look at the community projection of Ted Ginn:

16 games, 74 receptions, 1011 yards, 7 TDs, 5 40+ yard receptions, 3 return TDs

Seems fair to me.  To hit these marks, Ginn would have to average 4.6 receptions per game for 63 yards per game.  Very doable, if you ask me.

Moving along, it's time or project for Ricky & Ronnie.  Please do so in the format I show below:

name - games, carries, yards, rush TDs, receptions, yards, rec TDs, total fumbles

Oh this one is fun.....................

i called it…2 100 yrd seasons….here it is mi amigo

name – games, carries, yards, rush TDs, receptions, yards, rec TDs, total fumbles

Ronnie 16, 250 ,1000, 9, 30, 400, 2, 3

Ricky 16, 290, 1300, 6, 65, 712, 3, 2

i think its a big yr for these guys…i really believe this regime loves to smash the football…..i think ronnie will get the goal line stuff it in carries cuz he is more of a pounder….i think ricky will catch a crap load of screen passes and stwings, just like tomlinson does.

we seem to be a offense that wants to take what they give us and play it smart and solid…instead of chucking it on low percentage plays downfield 30 yrds.

this is gonna be fun to watch…and if my #’s hold up…imagine the pennington to ginn play action….tasty

Its Sunday afternoon.....do you know where your beer is?

Okay mine is

Ronnie- 16, 272, 1337, 10, 41, 355, 2, 1

Ricky- 15, 261, 1011, 5, 21, 211, 0, 3

I think we are going to Run run run and run somemore. These numbers are up there I know but I reallly beleive this would be the max that either of them would do. I like Ronnie better than Ricky despite how good number 34 has looked so far.

1000 yard rusher

1000 yrds divided by 16 games is 62.5 yrds. very doable.

i think one guy goes off while the other gets his 60 yrds. i can see ricky going for 180 in a game…bringing that average way down. ronnie i think is the pounder, so i say he gets more tds…just less yrds. ricky will be sick in the short passing game

this one has ricky getting 4.1 yards a carry with just over 16 carries a game and ronnie getting 4.0 yards per carry and 18 carries a game which I think is completely doable!!!
