It's Time...How many Wins?
Alright Dol-Fans the pre-season is almost over, our rebuilding project is in full swing as well. So HOW MANY WINS does The Phinsider predict for our favorite team this year. State wins and why you think that if you want.
We still aren't a very good team, but major improvements have been made. We have a relaiable QB that can, at the very least, manage the game and make smart descisions. Our running game should be fantastic, for Ricky has looked great and hopefully Ronnie will return to his explosive self. Our recieving corps still bothers me a little bit but Ginn has really stepped it up and will fill the void of the Dolphin's NO. 1 receiver. The O-Line is young and should protect not only Chad but our runners as well. Defensively I love our D-Line, even with the loss of Taylor, but even since Draft day I am very worried about our linebackers and our secondary.
Overall though we have gotten better but I think the majority of our losses will come from our Defense letting big plays by or our recievers not stepping it up in clutch situations...(or an awefull injury...knock on wood) Final verdict 7 Wins.

I would consider going .500 a success for our rebuilding season. Next year, though, we should be 9 wins or more. The way we draft now with Tuna in charge, the Dolphins have a bright future.
Twelve Wins, what a homer!
Jets (Farve > Chad, Ricky > Jets D, Phins play ball control keep-away from Farve) W,
@ Cardinals (Matt Leinert? Please! Phins secondary improving) W,
@Patriots L,
Chargers (home crowd, a bye week to get ready, SD looking ahead to Pats), W
@Texans (secondary is suspect) W,
Ravens (Offensive Coordinator Cam Cam, ‘nuff said) W,
Bills (Good Trent or Bad Trent? Bad Trent sighting) W,
@Broncos L,
Seattle (Hasselbeck not healthy, Julius Jones = bust) W,
Raiders (the NFL’s most dysfunctional franchise) W,
Patriots L,
@Rams (fragile QB behind a shaky O-line) W,
@Bills (Good Trent shows up, dang it!) L,
49ers (QB: JT O’Sulliwho?) W,
@Chiefs (the sequel is even better than the original) W,
@Jets (Chad hates to lose, Farve contemplating quitting again) W.
Twelve Wins, what a homer!
Okay, I like the way you think!
I will go out on a very optimistic limb here and agree with you except
I think we split with the Jets. I think the last game is a “L”.
I also would not be surprised to see Seattle win.
And all this goes out the window if Chad P gets injured.
Want to add:
As for Chargers, they are also going to be without Merriman. And all the west coast teams, Seattle, Raiders, 49ers, and Chargers, lose 3 hrs to travel. Tough trips.
I’ll go with 11-5.
Now pass the crack pipe dammit!

I gotta agree
I say 4-12 worst case, 8-8 best case … I say the middle would make most sense, so 6-10. We will show progress. +5 in the win column is a big deal.
im just real
cmon guys…i mean we do have a few games on there i know we should win…bugt ppl on here are saying we beat the chargers…i hope…but no likely.
if we do well like yall say i will be dancing around chugging my beer just like the rest of yaz
Its Sunday afternoon.....do you know where your beer is?
Why not? We beat the chargers in 2005 with a worse team IMO.
and we had to travel to SD. They had Drew Brees, LT, Gates, etc. and they held the ball for over 40 minutes in the game. We beat them with a tough D, and I think we might even be better on D this year than in 2005.

My guess
9 wins.
Dammit, I said this last year to.
But, things just seem different this year. idunno..
No worse than 1-15 no better than 14-2 :)
My prediction: WE WILL SPLIT WITH THE PATRIOTS THIS YEAR. Every one keeps putting a lose next to the Patsies this year but our new defense is going to rattle Tom Brady. The Patsies are not going to be as good as last year because one reason.
1) The G men exposed their weakness in the SB. Blitz, Blitz, Blitz You put Tommy boy on his ass a couple times and he will be throwing lame ducks the rest of the game.( I think they call it Neil O’donnell syndrome)
double taaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrueeeeeeeeeee
ohhhhhh yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
Its Sunday afternoon.....do you know where your beer is?
New York Jets – WIN
Arizona Cardinals – WIN
New England Patriots – LOSS
San Diego Chargers – LOSS

Seattle Seahawks – LOSS
Oakland Raiders – WIN
New England Patriots – LOSS
Saint Louis Rams – WIN
Buffalo Bills – WIN

10-6 is my prediction.
10-6,11-5 and12-4 sounds insane
if last years season is in the back of your mind BUT this aint last year and barring injuries on the level of last year,we now have the Coaching, talent and attitude to easily reach 10 wins.

What's the biggest turnaround?
going 1-15 to 12-4… 11 game turnaround. Anyone know the NFL record to save me going to the book on the shelf.
Oh yeah…somewhere tween 6-10 and 7-9. Maybe even tie one.
Okay then! If we do the same thing TB did...
then we will go from 1-15 to 15-1, right?
:)

LOL
Why do MOST peeps think we are gonna lose to the NYJ? Cause they got Farve? LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL.
Hold on, I need a minute……..ok.
LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL.
I’m sorry how many games did the Jets win last year? And afterall they are the “Jets”
The only reason Farve did so well last year is that coaching staff made his @ss come in and work, study and do all the things he had too. In 2006 he threw 18 TDs compared to 18 Ints. The year before that he threw 20 TDs, compared to 29 Ints. Yes 29 ints.
He is a 38 year old premadonna, and I’m for one am not scared nor intimidated by “Mr. Brett Farve”.
With our new coaching staff, Chad wanting payback, homefield and this is a rivarly, I say Farve throws at least 2 ints and we win by a TD.
BTW I predict 7-8 wins.
Are you picking up what I'm putting down?
not me dude.
I think we beat the stinkin jets!

I say......SPOILER
I say, we are going to do a helluva lot better than last year……there will be games we win, that probably shouldn’t win, and games we lose, that we probably shouldn’t lose. I do feel that after last year (remember we lost SEVEN (7) games by less than 3 points.) It will look like we have made leaps and bounds. The truth being….we had the players from get go. BUT, not the fire and desire nor the coaching. Its going to be fun to watch how our beloved Dolphins totally mess up some of our division rivals hopes and dreams! No, we probably aren’t going to the playoffs……but you know what Billsfan, Jetsfan, and a homefield wanting Patriots fan…….neither are you! When I say Miami….you say Dolphin……
