Ted Ginn emerging as true #1 WR

Just found this nice little article about Ted Ginn and thought some of you may enjoy the read. Nothing long but it certaintly is nice to see our Dolphins and especially Ginn (who some were already calling a bust) get some recognition.
Personally I think that Ginn will be a true #1 WR for us. The most important part of him becoming a great reciever will be consistency at QB. I always defended Chris Chambers when people were bashing him and i believe that our poor QB play is what held him back from becoming elite. Now that he has had time to work with a good QB (Rivers) he will show everyone that he is a pro bowl caliber WR and a true #1. I just hope that we can give Teddy the best opportunity to succeed.

I have to agree, he is finally becoming what so many of us questioned. I think one main reason people questioned his ability is because the old staff chose him in the draft. He’s fast as hell and with the QB’s now he can dominate, I sometimes wonder in 3 years will commentators be talking about the the Henne/Ginn factor as one of the best QB/WR combos in the game. Maybew who know, and lets dream. I always had confidence in Derek Hagan, he has that whole under dog thing going for him. He wants to shine so bad he can taste it. The biggest let down for me is Wilford, I mean WTF? But oh well he was cheap and he’s a big dude. Mayb e he can play a spot like Duante Stallworth did last year. If he plays at all. I just htink that we have something real special down there. I’d really like to see Anquan Boldin down there but thats a fantasy. Oh well lets see what the kid can do we have for a few years so lets hope for the best.

Boldin is NOT a Fantasy

TEDDY GINN JR
what it comes down to is he is a great guy to have on your team…..super fast…dangerous…special teams….all that. but he wasnt worth a #9 pick and we should have taken quinn so he gets a bad wrap around here. i like the guy and think we will take a #1 wr next yr to put with him. Maybe we can get crabtree if he comes out. hes sick.
crabtree and ginn….thats speed.
Its Sunday afternoon.....do you know where your beer is?

If we had taken Quinn
Cam Cam would have ruined him, so that draft is moot.

Ginn-tinued?
I haven’t really got a grasp on how much special teams Ginn will be playing this year? I hope he keeps it going. Take away a few penalties last year, and he has a few more returns for TD’s. The man has speed. I do question his toughness though, seems like if you just breath on him he goes down.
