quick hit on ronnie brown
Well i just wanted to now,I know ous dolphin phans realy do love ronnie brown and all but lets talk about the truth.....Now this guy was drafted 3rd overall now if im not mistaken,And in every year he seems like hes gonna have a big year but somethan always ends up happening and the guy dont even make it to the probowl....Well know that the guy just came off a serious injury, and they do say once a player has a injury like this hes had they dont come back the same.....Also for some reason i believe that this year there might be a chance that rickey willams does become the better running back and might win that number one spot......Also with all the money we do pay ronnie,And say for some reason he has a average season,Or rickey does better this year,or hes gets hurt or whateva......Do you believe that the dolphins well trade him....? or what what well you want to happen to ronnie...What do you belive well be the right price to let the guy go.....?

Ronnie will be fine..
10/21/07 Ronnie went down with that ACL injury. He had surgery to repair the ligament. This stabilizes the knee, preserves the cartilage, and enables a return to sports at the same level as prior to the surgery. which is known to have a success rate of 90% With this procedure, most athletes can return to their chosen sport at the same level after surgery, exercise and rehabilitative therapy required to strengthen the muscles and restore mobility was issued. While in the hospital, Ronnie started partial weight bearing with exercises to re-establish knee joint mobility and normal gait. He was required to wear a brace and use crutches for the first six weeks but it did not take ronnie that long.. his physical therapy program began with range-of-motion and resistive exercises, then incorporates power, aerobic and muscular endurance, flexibility, and coordination drills. A typical patient might begin to ride a bike at three monthsand start running at five to seven months, and return to competitive sports after eight to 12 months. Full recovery may take up to two years!
Ronnie played his second preseason game this week. 10 months after the ACL tear. He is doing fine.
BTW Ricky’s contract is up ummm I think next year. Am I wrong? little help here.
and he was the 2nd overall
i dont see anyway we trade him, and i know we dont trade him if ricky has a good season. ricky is in his early 30s and just lookin for some cash so he can finally retire and do what he really wants to do. so in short ronnie will atleast be here til his contract expires.
yes...
Ronnie Brown does have great potential, but lets remember that he has never, in any part of his career, been the “go-to” guy for the running game. Now that doesn’t necessarily mean that he’s not going to go on to have a productive carrer, it just means that you’ll need two strong runningbacks to have a productive backfield.
Don’t ever expect that Ronnie will be able to carry the full load. He’s never completed a full season, due to injury.
Yes, Ricky Williams’ contract is up next year. Look for him to become a free agent next year. We will likely be in the market for an RB next year, possibly spending a fairly high draft pick on one.
Emotional Ricky
It was 2nd overall behind Alex Smith now in San Fran and being very mediocre at best…especially for a 1st overall pick. I think that until last year and Ronnie Browns little spurt of 5 games with 200+ yards…most of us were really asking ourselves was he worth a #2 overall pick. It will be interesting to see if he does keep growing and continuing to blossom into a somewhat powerhouse runner…I picked him tonight on my fantasy football team. I don’t see us trading him…it may be a good thing to not be the featured RB considering his injury.
Getting to Ricky……I feel that part of his new passion has been fueled by the fact that he has alot of respect for BP..AND BP has reached out to Ricky and voiced his faith and belief in him……THAT is motivation. Ricky has always been very emotional..I believe that money is not the motivator for him nor has it ever been…Ricky likes to be accepted and cared about as a person..I believe BP and the after last seasons more accepting Phin Phans make him feel more comfortable and at home in Miami. Even if Ricky has a real good season this year..Provided our coaching staff is still in place and BP over sees it..Ricky will stay a Dolphin.
Cobbs and Parmele will still get some reps this year….call me crazy but I STILL think we could have found a place for Booker!

Ricky's past
Ronnie isn’t the best guy in the world or anything. But if Ricky’s starter I can count on Ronnie to be there. I still cant show much respect for Ricky though. He’s good probably better than Ronnie but after what he did I still kinda hate him. He shaved his head what is he the Brittney Spears of the NFL?
