Ginn in favor of bringing in Glenn

After today's 2nd practice, Ted Ginn was asked about the idea of Miami bringing in Terry Glenn and adding him to the mix at wide receiver.  Ginn seems to like the idea:

"I don't think it's a bad idea. It's going to be great. It would be great to have two or three coaches in the [meeting] room and that's what it would be like with his experience."

Ginn does make a good point.  He would go a long way towards helping these young receivers grow; especially Teddy.  But it could also force the Dolphins to cut a young receiver who has some potential.  And then what happens when Glenn suffers yet another injury?

Eh.  I guess we can worry about this if/when the Dolphins do sign Glenn.  But it is food for thought, nonetheless.

Glenn

I like the idea of a solid veteran. This is what I was looking for with Hakim last year. Put Camarillo on the practice squad for a year or two and he will be solid when Glenn gets hurt or retires.

bring in glenn

The real question is are the 5th and 6th receivers going to make any impact this year of ever? Or are they fillers for the roster.

I say we bring him in because even if we get 8 games out of him he will contribute more then the 5 and 6th receiver.

This from a cowboy fan

Glenn was real good when he was healthy, but at this point I don’t think he is or else he would still be with us. I think Parcells is taking a chance of his knees being able to hold up. I’ll be surprised if he passes a physical from what I’ve been reading. Hope it works out for you, if only for one season because he was a good player.

Look up... get up...Don't ever, ever give up!!

Lets go out and get him

We need a number one reciver and i now that we dont got one yet,So he would realy help ous out alot…I know he cant be that expensive with all the injury problems that he comes with…So if we do sign him i cant see ous giving him a contract of anymore then 3 years,But i think that 2 well be great….So if he does get injures again we can trade him with only one year left opn his contract but i wouldnt give the guy that much money eaitha.
