Dolphins and Brett
This was an article i stumbled upon on NFL.
Packers GM Ted Thompson had his staff compile a list of potential trade partners not long after Favre's demand for his outright release, reports the Wisconsin State Journal. The teams on that list include the Jets, Ravens, Dolphins and Texans in the AFC and Panthers, Buccaneers, Falcons and Redskins in the NFC, according to the report.
I personally dont like the idea of adding another quarterback to our roster, even if it is Brett Favre, but now it seems like a real possibility of him coming to Miami because I dont believe the Packers would trade him within the NFC.

dont worry
Farve wont be wearing a MIami jersey. He wants to come back and play for a contender. He already said that Tampa Bay was to hot. I seriously doubt that he ends up anywhere. The Commish has told the Pack to get this rapped up i read on PFT earlier.
the jets
I would want to add him to the fins just to keep him away from the jets.
Over-rated
I always thought Favre was over-rated. Too many mistakes.
we should be so lucky to have
such an overrated QB in Miami.
I agree that I don’t want him on the Fins, but the guy owns every career passing record and is a sure fire hall of famer. Not sure how that can be overrated.
The Jayfiss Report ...one fan's rants
I agree with Jay..
while I doubt Favre would come here, he’d be a huge upgrade at the position.
Sure Favre has the career record for interceptions but his numbers and career rating are very similar to Marino’s. Both of those guys are/were gunslingers who weren’t worried about QB ratings and were always trying make a play. So yeah, they threw and throw many interceptions as well as tons of TD’s.
I would love to have favre from a 2008 fan perspective
it would make the season incredibly fun.
But it would hurt the 2010 team when Farvruh AGAIN has retired, and the Fins are AGAIN without a starting QB.
At this point, with the pain of a 1-15 season fresh in mind, I would rather go with the rookies and find out what we have. Play Beck this year, and give Henne a shot next year, and keep drafting QBs until we finally settle on the guy that can lead the Fins to the playoffs for the next 10 years.
Now, if Josh McCown plays, that changes everything. I would much rather have Brett line up back there this season than McCown. But the best option is to endure the pain of developing a rookie now, and get it done. It is something that should have happened 10 yrs ago.

I'm curious to see how Favregate part 3
plays out.
The teams that could use his services most are all in the NFC. Worst still, the two most logical candidates/teams are in the same division (chicago/minnesota).
I’ve read somewhere that Baltimore rejected a deal for Favre and are no longer in the running. So who does that leave?
What I can’t see is Favre playing backup to Rodgers, so this thing has to have a different ending – probably in the form of a trade though I doubt Miami is a likely destination.
but im all for it....rumors has it that we are forced to spend another 5 million before start of season
