7/22 Orlando Sentinel article

Idk if anyone here reads the Orlando Sentinel, myself don't make a habit of it because I enjoy my braincells, however, found this today: http://www.orlandosentinel.com/sports/orl-adelson2208jul22,0,7979283.column

Notice the term "garbage" being used to describe our current roster? Who the hell even approves this dribble? I mean I'm used to people hating on the Dolphins, but how can someone write for a newspaper, and not even know a single fact about the team they supposedly "love?"

I live in Orlando and the Sentinel has always hated the Fins. I thought this might have been a Jerry Green article but I see it’s a really stupid broad! Just another reason not to read this piece of SH** paper. I’m sure I’ve forgotten more about the NFL than she’ll ever know.

Geez louise. I can’t help but read that and feel some of her pain. It’s the offseason leading up to training camp and we’re supposed to be getting excited for the upcoming season and with no big hollywood names, on paper, our prospects don’t seem good. Remember all of those times we had a diesel team on paper…the year we went out and dropped alot of money on FA’s for Marino and Shula’s last hoorah? That worked out real well.. Also, on paper the New York Knicks look like a championship team…so that should be saying something….I guarantee we will not go 0-16 or 1-15 next year no matter who is on our roster. It’s about the attitude and the environnment that Sparano and Parcells are installing. I think this woman was a little caught up with JT leaving that she felt the need to write a doom and gloom the sky is falling report like that. He was only one player and as she points out only got us one win last year with him on the team. Once the sting wears off, she’ll realize that we will be just fine. We have a lot of exciting storylines heading into camp. Ricky’s re-emergence, Ronnie’s back, Ted Ginn breakout year?, The QB battle, Porter breakout?, etc.

Ironically...

we had perhaps ‘bigger’ names on the field last year but will end up having a much better season this year.

For one thing we have a big name that isn’t on the field but that’s got great influence on things: Bill Parcells.

That’s the name that will turn this team which may lack some ‘star power’ into a competitive franchise.

Once the wins start coming regularly, maybe in 08, maybe in 09 – then suddenly the stars will emerge here.

Well thats how everybody sees it

Dont be shocked thats how everybody sees the dolphins now..We just lost are 2 best players this year,Are star running back just came off of a acl injury and are back up is a pot head…Last year we went 1-15,Everybody in are secondary would only be playen back up on any other roster,Are o-line was horrible last year and know its bein controlled by a punch of young players and the best player on are line is a rookie…Are best wide receiver has only bein in the league for 2 years now and is better at kick return then he is at recevier…We also lost both of are starting recviers from last year…Are qb postion is a mess and we dont even now who is gonna start.Last but not least are linebackers is bein lead by a has been who is just in hes down years of his carrer now and hes suppose to be are captain now…..Thats the why i would look at things if i was a outsider and it all makes sense and is mostly facts,So we cant realy get mad….Only think about the positive…................

One guy basically said he rooted for the Dolphins because it was easy to, back in the day. What kind of shit is that? You root for your team regardless if they suck or are great. What a bandwagon-riding sunnovabitch.
