Veteran dissention begins: Vonnie speaks out

Vonnie holliday recently made some comments regarding the JT trade that some may regard as hostile, I think its pretty funny though.
"...I don't quite understand the move. I don't see how it helps us in the immediate future. If we were getting something today that'd be different. It kind of puts a little bit of taste in your mouth like the Chris Chambers deal four games into last year. What exactly are we doing? I can't wait to get back to find out, and hopefully they've got a plan to pull some rabbit out of a hat or have something up their sleeve to prove otherwise."
LOL, who will be the rabbit?? well matty's latest article starts to explore that...
I'm hoping that Bentley will recover from his injury and we will bring him in and use that extra cap money. We must have a ton of room right now.

Well there's no question
the dolphins are taking a step back on defense without taylor and certainly in terms of the pass rush. I can understand his (VH’s) frustration in what seems like a move to make the team go backwards in the short term.
However the caveat is this – we have no idea that JT would have showed up to camp. He may well have retired or held out or something else.
I agree in that it would have been nice to do this deal on draft day when we could have gotten another player for this season. I think if the deal had been there on draftday, then we would have made it.

I understand
vonnie i really do , you are finally realizing that you have no job security either, it sucks and we all know Bill and co wont be around for long what 2-3 years max …. what if we win 2-3 games with an unproven coach, who hasnt even been a cordinator, will he to be axed? probably not, he has BP’s hand up his a$$ like a pupet. Big Tuna i hope your o-line coach is going to proove everyone in SoFlo wrong

That's Rough
Though good teams always find someone. Look at the Shockey trade. Who knew Boss would be the man?
Or like when Greg Lloyd went down. Who knew Chad Brown would be a force?
Let’s hope the Dolphins are a good team. ;-)

Whatever
Why is VH showing loyalty to JT? JT wanted out and would of been a cancer in the locker room. We will find talent. JT was a nobody once too. Another star will come along.

Taylor wouldnt have been a cancer, he was going to report… yes there will be another star, not this year unless Henne turns into Rothlisberger because BP wont play Beck

JT
Jt reporting did not mean that he wouldn’t be a cancer. He dislikes Ireland and Parcells. As a team leader I believe that he would of turned others against the leadership. No one thought JT was going to be a star when he was drafted, but he developed flashes of talent in ‘96 to a perennial all-star. No, we probably won’t have a star develop this year but if JT tied up a roster spot we wouldn’t of had another star next year either. Why is Green Bay taking the hard stand against Farve? He is still a good QB. Because it is all about the future. Holliday is talking because he knows that he is the next level of “over the hill” guys to go. Parcells does not care about how good Holliday used to be. . .bring it now. He better worry about his own play and close his mouth. Don’t get me wrong, I love everything that JT has brought to the ‘Phins, especially the 2nd round pick next year exchanged for a guy that isn’t dedicated to football and will play maybe 2 more years.

If Taylor
didn’t want to play in Miami, why would management want to keep him around?
The trade made sense and we definitely got the upper hand. I was hoping that dissension between the players and management would end with the trade, but I guess Vonnie decided to be a martyr for douches everywhere.
