Zach Thomas gets his due
ESPN polled the NFL coaches on some superlatives of NFL players. Rodney Harrison was voted "Dirtiest Player". Former Dolphin Zach Thomas beat out Ray Lewis for smartest defensive player. See the article here. I always thought ESPN, the non-local media, and casual football fans overlooked Zach . I am glad he is being noticed and recognized. Too bad he isn't a Dolphin anymore. Congratulations Zach!

yep
hope he comes back to coach here after we immortalize him with a retired number and spot on the ROH.
I actually think Parcells kind of did Zach a favor. I may be looking at it a little twisted, but IIRC, The new regime asked Zach if he wanted to retire as a Dolphin now, and they would basically recognize him similar to the way Favre will be in GB. Zach wanted to continue playing and win, and BP, instead of looking for a trade and dragging it out (JT), let him go find a Championship team to latch on with. Maybe I’m just a sucker. And the fact that Zach avoided the Pats was kind of like paying back Miami for giving him an opportunity to seek a title this season.
Regardless, Zach will always be one of the great Dolphins in history, and I hope he gets his ring, even though I hate the Cowboys.

THERE IS NO NEED TO HOPE
only guarentees…one way or another ZT is getting his ring. We had one legend not get it and it is not happening again. Either by coaching or on his dallas “stacked” cowboy’s he’ll get his ring. All we need to do as thephinsider.com community, is steal a superbowl ring (just in case we need to give it to him) and replace romo so that the cowboys dont choke =)
