Ravens waive TE Xavier Lee
Xavier Lee is the one I'm interested in. He was an athletic mobile quarterback in college and he killed it occassionally at Florida State. He's being converted to tight end for the pros. I think he's worth a tryout at least. Florida State athleticism is not to be taken lightly, and we could use another threat across the middle. He could do some "trickeration" too.

Hahahaha.
I find it hilarious that Xavier Lee bolted to the pros because Fisher wanted him to play TE instead of QB, and when he got to the pros guess what they made him do?
And he even failed at that.
Xavier Lee is done. Just another example of athleticism being wasted because it wasn’t matched well enough with a brain.

I agree he doesn't appear to be the sharpest tool in the shed
but I’m not sure he has to be. If he can learn how not to false start and catch the ball and run, he could be useful. Then again, he may not be able to manage that. But a tryout and a few reps to see how he develops doesn’t hurt the Fins either way really.
don't even bother
why bring in a guy who failed in college, left early, and then got cut before ever getting on the field? It’s Maurice Clarett without the college success. Just stand pat with Fasano and Ryan and try to pick up a rook next season or a solid vet who hits FA.

Hey, look on the bright side.
I bet Xavier gets picked up by a team in the AFC South to play QB for their practice squad. He’d be good practice for teams having to face Vince Young twice a year. Practice squad players still make about $75-85k a year, which, in terms of the normal job market, isn’t bad at all.

FSU RECENT GRAD HERE
We called him Xavier Savior…..and he laid a huge pile of dun on the field every saturday. I watched him on 2 str8 drives throw int’s at our own 8. He is dumber than rocks. He looks like the Predator…so people love him….You would hate him after 1 quarter.
does he have the cool
four-pronged mouth? That would freak out anybody he has to block…
