does this concern you?
Dolphins QB Chad Henne, the 57th overall pick, admitted yesterday that he took pain-killing injections last season for a separated right shoulder. Probably no big deal, but it's funny how extra details about college injuries come out *after* the draft. Henne's completion % dropped from 61.8% in 2006 to 58.2% in 2007. His yards-per-attempt also dropped from 7.6 to 7.0.
How long do these things take to heal?

I think the problem was
that he didn’t give it time to heal which is why he needed the pain killers. He had a couple months to heal between his bowl game and draft prep, so it shouldn’t be an issue. The biggest problem with separated shoulders is that the tendons and ligaments around the shoulder are weaker afterwards, and that increases the possibility of separating it again. Hopefully he didn’t damage anything and it healed fine once popped back into the joint

No concern
I think he has a lot of time ti heal, because he won’t be the starting QB next season, and he doesn’t need to push it right now. Also, for a separated shoulder, I dont think his stats dropped that much.
