Matt Ryans workout w/ Dolphins
This is a really good article that I just stumbled onto. It's a diary by Matt Ryan and includes his Pro Day, a private workout with the Jets & Dolphins, and he says he's going to Kansas City & Baltimore, yet.
Sounds like Ireland & company dug into his past, his head, his future, and everywhere they could. Pretty interesting, to say the least & makes me feel mighty good about how they're handling the screaning of potential draft choices. Check it out:

I've never really said,
If we could wave a magic wand & have Dan Marino back in his prime, he'd look like shit behind last year's offensive line ESPECIALLY after Chambers left & Ronnie Brown went down. Would he have had the fumbles Beck had, no....but we're not talking about his rookie year, either.
My opinion is that we have a guy in place that has every skill set, mental aspect of the game, big arm & accuracy. We need to build the team around him & give him a God's chance to make it.
Matt Ryan will look like Alfalfa Switzer too, if we don't get some SERIOUS help to protect the quarterback & open running lanes!
"Matty Ice" had his chokes, his sissy moments, and his bone head plays in college. Do you think he'll suddenly become Payton Manning, if he has the same team Beck played behind last year? I think not.
I think John Beck deserves a fair chance. He deserves to have proper coaching, healthy receivers & running backs, a solid O-Line, and a tight end who can block & catch.
Matt Ryan had some "Doug Flutie moments" last year. He showed heart & balls & pulled a few wild finishes off, but he WAS NOT a machine! He was NOT consistent, he WAS NOT mistake free, poised, and outsmarting everyone.
He is not a lock for a #1 franchise quarterback pick.
That's just my opinion, and if Jeff & Bill decide otherwise I'll trust their judgement (just like we did camran last year), and I'll support my team.

Remember Quinn
Long (J) with the 1st pick it is then.
Ryan is smart and sounds like a pro mentally. Why do I think PFT will be linking this story down the road as a diary of a bust.
