Hopefully this is much easier to read so based on what we have now this is what i feel we still need:

QB - someone that can go into camp and compete with Beck possibly a rookie or maybe a June 1 cut (McCown 3rd string)

WR - we need somone besides Ginn that can make plays and strech the field a true #1 would be ideal but lets not push our luck. I hear talk of Javon Walker?!?!?

TE - Good blocker with dependable hands as I mentioned before I like Eric Johnson if he is healhty

LT - PLEASE DRAFT JAKE LONG!!!!!! haha

RG - A solid starter maybe even a rookie

OL - we need depth and lots of it I like Jason Fabini as a backup

DL - some depth through the draft would be nice

IL - someone who can line up with Crowder and can tackle

S - very important position that gets overlooked we need someone who is smart and that can cover so basically the opposite of Jason Allen

CB - a true #1 would be a dream come true....im still hoping for DeAngalo Hall for our #33

So obvi we still have a long ways to go.....any suggetions or new rumors on who will fill any or all these positons?

We need starters
I believe bill should just get starters in the free agency cuz we can add rookies for depth.Realy in the backfield we have no true number 1 players for us and you cant find that in the draft for next year.

The secondary
may be the area that needs to be addressed the most.  We added some quality depth to other positions through FA so far.  It'd be nice to land S Eugene Wilson and maybe sign CB Ty Law, Brian Kelly, or Travis Fisher.  Besides Wilson there are a plethora of FA safeties available.  Chris Crocker, C.C. Brown, Will Demps, and Keith Davis plus our own Yeremiah Bell.  Perhaps the longer Bell goes unsigned the more likely he returns to the Dolphins?  I wouldn't mind signing bell to a 3 year contract.  He was the only playmaker in the secondary in 2006.  As for an ILB to pair with Crowder, we could look at veterans Kendrell Bell and Dan Morgan.  I know Morgan is injury prone but we have depth after adding Torbor and Anderson.  Taking a risk on Morgan and him producing at a high level for 8-10 games is better than nothing.  It probably would not cost a lot to get him.  Bell played much better in the 3-4 in Pittsburgh than he did the 4-3 in Kansas City.  There are a lot of options still out there.

I agree with you that this is currently
the biggest area of concern.  I am a little disappointed that we did not go after a CB or S yet... BUT... we did re-sign Bell, and Lehan, picked up some guy named Joey Thomas at CB... AND...  they still have Goodman on the roster.

I think the coaching staff has a plan.  If I had to guess, they think that they will pick up a pretty good CB in the draft, and with a push up front on passing downs, the secondary might not be as bad as it looks to us right now.

The Tuna Scares Me!!
After looking over the free agents we have signed, I dont think the tuna has any understanding on how to run an nfl franchise.Looks like the easter bunny brought us a basket full of crap!!!! We added players in my opinion that are junk.

LOL... "basket full ot crap"
that cracks me up.

Okay, seriously, when you have as many holes on a team as you do on the fins, you have to grab a buncha guys.  Not a few great guys, but a buncha young, unproven guys with potential.

All the guys he got have potential.  Some are somewhat proven... others are big "maybes".  But all of these deals fill in holes in the O, D, and ST, and with the exception of the Ferguson trade, they are all pretty young guys that will be around a while as we work thr draft this year and next.

I think these are pretty good moves considering where we are starting from.  Wait until after the draft and the June 1st cuts.  I think the roster will shape up nicely.
