Y'ALL NEED A REFRESHER!

Alright people, I know about all the crap about drafting Ted Ginn & his whole family, but seriously (even though Cam can't coach), family does say alot, when you are dangling millions at a young man. I'd rather see a guy from a strong family who has overcome many obstacles than a kid who has never had a concious, diceplin, family falues, or dedication in his life (see Michael Vick).

Anyhoo.......... Since Bill & company are finally getting people on this team that know how to KILL on special teams, you may want to take 7 minutes of your time to see what Ted Ginn can do with proper coaching & people with heart on special teams.

Maybe between Ginn & his family, and the whole freaking Dallas Cowboy family we have signed, we might see some of THIS in '08!

crazy
it is unreal how many tackles the guy breaks in those highlights.  it seems like EVERY single play he is breaking tackles.  you wouldn't think that would be the case with his size.  but he is a tad over 6 foot and weighs more than 185.  I've heard he is putting on a few pounds in the offseason too.  you gotta be excited about the plays this guy is gonna make in a dolphins uni!!!

Yeah
He's pretty incredible. Remember his td return against the Eagles? (the one that actually counted)

I agree to a point
When he first started returning kicks, he looked timid, not really picking the lane and going through it like in the video.  As he became more comfortable, and started scoring, he gained confidence, and was taking them to the house.  He is going to have a breakout year folks, be ready.  Now with the new emphasis on rebuilding special teams, we are going to see a new level from him.  Remember, they are building the special teams unit for the sole purpose of playing the field position game.  they figure with a great return man, some beast blocking in front of him, they want our average starting line of scrimmage to be possibly around our own 40.  I'll take it.
And with the first pick in the 2008 NFL Draft...The Miami Dolphins select...Glenn Dorsey-LSU

And...
He's proven he's as fast at the pro level.  Plow the road...and let him fly!

Very Refreshing...
I watch virtually no college football as I work Saturdays. So when we drafted Ginn I remember all the talk about him being lethal as a return man and had "potential" as a receiver. Looks to me like he was pretty accomplished as a receiver in college as well. I'm even more excited to see what Parcells and company can do to put more offensive weapons around him now. Makes Jake Long seem even more important now to give the QB some time to thrown those deep balls.
