Some More Tony Sparano Love
From Miami Herald's Jeff Darlington:

This is a pretty good read, but some interesting notes I found from here include:
More than anything, this performance seemed to be a matter of well-executed preparation from earlier in the week. Rookie wide receiver Davone Bess, who caught nine passes for 74 yards in his second NFL start, said he never felt like the Bills did anything to cause any confusion for Miami's offense.
''They lined up exactly how we thought they would,'' Bess said. ``I think that helped a lot with our confidence. We saw what we saw in practice all week. It helped with our comfort level.
This sounds like the coaches did a great job game-planning for the Bills. Also, back in the pre-season when we looked terrible with penalties once again, Sparano noted that his biggest concern was penalties and we were going to focus on that. We now rank 10th with least amount of penalties and 14th in yards.
After the Patriots debacle, his next emphais was Special Teams. Last week we showed that we could not only not lose a game from Special Teams place, but help out with Special Teams. It seems when our coaches put their mind to fixing a problem with our team, that you can be assured they will put massive effort into getting it fixed. My confidence in this team and the coaching staff is at an all-time high from the previous years.

sparano doesnt get enough credit
a lot of the success is looked at parcells more than anyone. obviously dolphin fans can appreciate what sparano, ireland, and parcells have all done… but from an average football fan, sparano isnt looked at like a belicheck or “man-genius” (wtf is up with that?!) even tho he should be right up there with these coaches who have turned a team around. not saying he needs a nickname or anything, but this guy has done a whole lot more than belicheck or mangini yet he’s not getting that credit.

well
he’s a rookie coach for one. And a Coaches career is measured by what he does over a period of time. Not just 13 weeks into a season. He’ll have to make this team a success over time with some real Super Bowl runs for that to happen. Give it time, he’ll get there I believe.

that
and Belichick and Mangini are paired with pretty good GM’s as well. Same for Sparano, he just happens to be paired with a Legend instead of a career executive that no casual fan could name.
And he’ll be a much bigger name after he wins Coach of the Year and leads the Dolphins to the Playoffs after 1-15.

i agree
that it takes time to get a reputation, but if you were to ask a seahawks fan or something like that about the team’s overall success… i bet they’d say its cause parcells hands down. and it is the P,S,and I’s brains all equally together who have made this team into a solid postseason contender, yet sparano is the guy on the field on gameday. as for mangini and belicheck i cannot stand either, and all i could think about during the first pats. fins game this year was when we ran the wildcat so effectively… and belichick is supposed to be one of “the greatest” coaches who will always find a way to win… riiiiight lol

Belicheck
I can’t believe I used to like Belichick….I feel so ashamed…I actually thought he was FAIR….God, I feel stupid
A couple was told to individually write a sentence using the words 'sex' and 'love.' The woman wrote 'When two people love each other very much, like Bob and I, it is morally acceptable for them to engage in sex.' And Bob wrote 'I love sex.'
