Dolphins about to break HUGE NFL record.
Fins' turnaround already among best ever

At this point last season, the Miami Dolphins were 0-13. That's Detroit Lions territory. That's epic awfulness.
Now look at the Dolphins. They're in a three-way tie with the New York Jets and New England Patriots for the AFC East lead. The Dolphins control their own destiny and meet the Jets in the Dec. 28 season finale at the Meadowlands.
With Sunday's victory over the Buffalo Bills in the Rogers Centre, the Dolphins are 8-5 already giving them a plus-7 win differential from last year, when they became one of only eight teams to finish 1-15 since the NFL went to a 16-game schedule in 1978.
The Dolphins have three more opportunities to match and surpass the 1997 Jets and 1992 Indianapolis Colts, who pulled off plus-8 improvements. Thanks to ESPN researcher Russell Baxter for passing along the information for the chart.
No 1-15 club has reached the playoffs the following season.
The NFL record for the biggest win differential from one season belongs to the 1999 Colts, who won 13 games a year after they won three.Fins turnaround already among best ever. Check out the chart.

Obvious Observation
Bill Parcells turned the Jets around after 1-15 and took over the Patriots after a combined record of 9-39 the previous 3 season. I know Parcells is not a coach this year but it is another huge notch on his spectacular resume and a testament to his ability to build a team.

Which is exactly why
Tony won’t get Coach of the Year. Too many people credit BP.

P.S.
I do like Tim Graham, though. Spoke with him a few times and he’s a good guy.
But ESPN still blows.

Agrees.
I hope Berman watched that Fins/Bills game.
I’m seeing it more and more on ESPN. They are letting feelings for their own favorite team affect how they present, cover other teams.
So to Berman, Greenberg, and Golic (among others):
Suck rope pals.
Are you picking up what I'm putting down?
