The ECU Pirates are Champs for the first time since 1976 and their first C-USA Championship! ECU won 27-24 against Tulsa!

C-USA's number one defense beat C-USA's number one offense in a lopsided turnover battle (ECU had 5 picks, 2 fumbles recovered) against the top NCAA efficiency passer, David Johnson, who just could not find a rhythm.

Man, Kevin Smith and the new stadium

It really was a golden year for the golden knights when I was around, hopefully they can get back to where they were. I was there against Texas when the stadium opened. Good times, I never thought they’d get that competitive. Hasn’t lasted though…
