Still Turning Over Ever Rock..
Saw this article on the Sun Sent. Looks like we have signed a reciever off the 49ers practice squad to replace J. Smiley. Dont know anything about this guy but he will be on the 53 man roster on Sunday most likely for S.T purposes. Heres the link:

big guy, I think you’re right that he’ll be a special teamer. If we needed a WR, we would’ve just brought Armstrong up from the PS, since he’s been around the team all year. So that leads me to believe this guy is being brought in to help the coverage units. We picked up a ST gem last week when KC let Eric Walden go, so hopefully we struck Special Teams Gold on this guy as well..

true
the only thing positive I can say about him is he hasn’t pouted and bitched and complained.. from everything Sparano says about him he works hard in practice and is still trying to learn.. but yeah he’s definitely a huge disappointment this year.

no the point was
that he’s still working hard in practice, not acting like he’s more important than the team. And he’s not moping around because he isn’t playing, he’s still busting ass during the week.
Saying that, I hope we get rid of him because he’s pretty much useless on gamedays

My bad!
You are correct on that. Didn’t knew about him busting his ass in practices. That mean he is really useless.

4.52 in the 40: Good size and Speed. Not good that he couldn't make the 49ers Roster
must be raw with great athletic skills

what do you mean.. Wilford rocks! he's gonna bust 10rec for 200+ and 3 TD's this weekend!
LOL.. yeah..I think he’s done.. but he’s got his fat cheque to keep him happy.. it’s too bad.. I actually thought he might work out here (before season started). Last week was his LAST chance… not his fault though..didn’t see too many snaps and got one ball thrown his way..I think..and it wasn’t even catchable..

Just to throw this in
The 49ers put him on waivers so they could put him back on their practice squad. NFL rules state that, 2 weeks (I believe) before teams play each other, they cannot steal players off of each other’s practice squads. Look at our schedule and…whoops, in 1 week we play the 49ers.
Not saying that’s why we did it, but getting a WR who knows the team’s system and audibles isn’t a bad thing. Now, the 49ers have to change their signals and audibles when they play us – thus wasting practice time.
Strategery or just looking at a chance to grab another STer?
