Pro Bowl in Miami in 10'
I had no idea that next year the super bowl was in miami next year, and thats gooood news...but, i read today that that pro bowl will be in miami as well, which is awesome, dont get me wrong, but it will be the week before the super bowl. Isnt that not a smart decision, being players from the super bowl teams will likely be pro bowl players? Would they sit out the pro bowl in that case to be safe and avoid a possible injury? The pro bowl is an honor, but if i were a member of a super bowl team, i damn well wouldnt be risking anything the week before the biggest game of my life in a game that is nice to be invited to, but means absolutley nothing. What are your guys thoughts?

mosul pointed this out in a fanpost earlier
but it said that players on the Super Bowl teams will not play in the Pro Bowl. It is good that it is before the Super Bowl. Would you rather end the season with a game that means nothing or a game that means everything(in terms on the NFL)?
Then disregard this post haha
But the pro bowl is when the players on the super bowl champions get to bask in the limelight, and the focus is on them imo.

I don't like the move
But then again, I don’t really like the Pro Bowl either. Football isn’t a game that’s very conducive to an all-star game like Basketball is. I would say just name Pro Bowl “rosters” as an honor, invite them all to Hawaii at the end of the year, and have various skills competitions instead of an actual game. Say, do events like the Fastest Man, QB Competition, Big Man Lift-off, Obstacle Course, etc etc etc.. I’m sure they could come up with a bunch more to keep people interested.
