Zach Coming Back?
When being interviewed following his locker cleaning in Dallas on Monday, Zach Thomas said that he's healthy enough to return for a 14th NFL season, but not necessarily with Dallas.
"I'm going to weigh my options," he said. "I'm healthy and I feel like I still got a lot of fuel left in this tank."
Come on back Zach; come help us win the Super Bowl you tried so hard to get us in the 12 years you dominated the ILB position for the Fins.

Zach and JT
They just wanted to play for ‘contenders’ so they could finish off their careers. I still love those class guys and am not gloating. I wish them the best. But they are not part of the ‘Tony-Plan’.

I would openly welcome Zach back......I think he deserves a spot on the roster until he retires lol.
I see no reason why he could not take Denneys roster spot and be our long snapper……
I love JT but the situation is like taking back an ex girlfriend that broke your heart. You may love her to death but there is always too much water under the bridge.

tough times
Zach would be welcome back. JT, not so much. I still like him, but I don’t think Parcells would take him back after how he went about getting out of here.

Difference between Zach and JT.
Zach didn’t ask to leave. He was told he’s not in the plans and he asked to be cut rather than traded, so he could choose his destination. He then turned down the Pats, saying he could never play for them after hating them for all those years. Taylor went off to dance and then tried to backdoor his way out of town, eventually getting traded to Washington. I’d take Zach back in a heartbeat, if only to see that 54 line up one more time in a Dolphins uniform, but I fear he may not have much left. He was invisible in many Cowboys games this year.

Perhaps he wouldn't mind taking on a diminished, back-up role.
I would much rather have ZT patrolling the locker room, sidelines, and filling in when needed than Reggie Torbor. At the very least, he could take Wilford’s spot on the roster.

I think that Zach's experience can pay off
He can be there to help the young guys. I know Porter is in that role right now, but I would like to see Zach back. I agree with Nicky. You have to love him for turning down the Pats

I just don't know!
I luv ZT to death!
But we have move on, but i rather see him in a Dolphin uniform his last playing season, than see him become a journeymen.
I will see the Dolphins win a SUPER BOWL before i die(21 years and counting)

zach doesn't fit he mold
for BP type LBs in a 3-4. too small, accompanied by his injury history make that a big no.
JT however would be possible, but he would have to humble himself and be 110% committed to football, and i don’t see that happening.

Bottom Line
I have no problem with Zach in a Dolphins uniform again because I want his last down in football to be for Miami. But he just doesn’t fit in the plan, and you can’t have a guy that can’t really contribute anymore just for sentimental reasons, because at some point during the season you’re going to need that guy to do something. I think the next time we see Zach here is when he signs his one-day contract to retire a Dolphin, and is put in the Ring of Honor.

short term memory
yeah, you guys also forget that the Pats wanted Zach and his agent said he did not sign with them on purpose because of his loyalty to the Fins. i hope he signs with a true contender. he deserves better than that garbage dump called Dallas.
