If you look at the impact plays yesterday by the Dolphins rookies you would have think these guys were vets. 

In the game Jake Long shutdown Calvin Pace giving Pennington the time he needed to make some big plays. 

Devon Bess have a 6 rec for 39 tough yards.

DC$ nail a tough 48 yard FG into the wind.

Then there was Phillp Merling doing his thing.

What a great play by Merling on the TD .. have to love the rookie helping us when it matterd most.  Makes an even better story after reading what Channing Crowder had to say. 

Overall we wouldn't be were we are without the great play from these rookies.  The great leadership of Pennington, Porter, Holliday has really shown these guys what it takes to win in the NFL and we are benefiting greatly from it.   Just another great story into what has already been the best season I can remember.
