Fins/Jets moved to 4:15 pm
As expected, Sunday's Dolphins/Jets game has been moved from 1:00 to 4:15 pm eastern. After the NFL moved the SD/Denver game to 8:15, it was assumed that the Dolphins game would indeed get moved to 4.
Personally, I hate 4 pm games. But it's no big deal.

I also Hate 4 p.m games, especially this one.
I live in New England now, but my family is in NJ. I am going home this weekend, for what my parents think is holiday spirit, but really to watch the game. But I am going to have to drive back to make work on Monday! Was banking on the 1:00 game but I am glad it is not the 8:15.
Go figure the only game, besides Pats vs. Fins game I get to see in the comfort of my own home has to be moved.
Go Fins.

DOES ANYBODY ELSE
Hope the Patriots lose. I mean not because we always want them to lose, rather because I can already hear their fans whining “the jets let the Dolphins win just to keep us out of the playoff”
by ATS16 on Dec 22, 2008 1:23 PM EST reply actions 0 recs
that won't matter
The Jets won’t be “throwing” the game. Even if the Pats win, the Jets can make the playoffs with a win over Miami and a Ravens loss to Jacksonville. The Ravens play at 4:15, too. So the Jets won’t know what is going on – meaning they’ll be playing just as hard as they would have if they won yesterday.

Hey Matty
How did you find out about these time changes before they hit NFL.COM?
I think Magini is coaching for his job so I definitely don’t think they would try to lose to us.
I just forsee the Pat fans whining.

Oh Boy do I do
Nothing is more than annoying then the band wagon fans of the Patriots. As some one who has lived up here for the past five years there is no one I hate more than the Patriots. I lived in New Jersey my whole life and Jets fans do not even compare to the Pats Fans. When the Jets suck or screw up or do somthing that is stupid Jets fans are level headed and reason with you, and even get angry at their team. The Patriots fans are arrogant and see their team as God, they can not screw up, and Belicheat is the best coach ever. I wish I could have recorded the conversations I have had with Pats Fans, there is no reasoning with them and you should have seen the whole SpyGate thing play out up here. It is awful!
On Sundays I root for two teams, the Dolphins and which ever team plays the Patriots. I really wish and hope the Patriots lose every game!
Oh and according to the Patriots fans the Fins were cheap and cheaters when the Fins dominated week three with the wild cat. And when the Pats used it weeks later, the commentators up here were ashamed the Pats were using such a play. “The Pats are a trend setter not a copy cat team” Direct quote

I feel for you k2oconnor....
I lived in Mass all but the last 4 yrs and I will say I still root for two teams as you do…….Winning sunday will be sweet on two fronts……Phins winning the division over the pats and Jets and a high probablity that the Pats will be home for the playoffs………Sweet….what a christmas present that would be……..

I want the Jets to be eliminated from the division race before we play them.
I want Mangini, subconsciously, knowing that his team winning puts New England and his best buddy Belichick in the playoffs. I want that team even more deflated than it already is.
BTW, I guess this is a good place to put it, Gameballs next week will be on Monday. I’ll be out of town at a wedding, won’t be coming home until after the game, meaning I won’t get in until about 1am. Just so ya know.

No no no no no
I’ll be watching the game while I’m up there, at a bar. The wedding is Saturday, but we’re going up for a few days. I won’t be coming home until after the game, so it’ll be late.

lol thats awesome
so basically what you are saying is…….after we win, we want the Jets in such a state emotionally and physically and spiritually, that they don’t recover for 10-15 years? I can deal with that.

I want the Jets having a chance to make the playoffs
The pressure will be to much for them and they will fold lol. If they have nothing to play for the will play better.

I'm worried!!!!
The first game against the Jets, CP10 was not the cool calm guy we have seen over the season. He was missing wide open receivers and not playing his best ball. He settled down late in the game and got thing rolling but I’m worried he will try to hard and it will effect his play……He is human and there will be plenty of distractions there for him, maybe that first game was too soon to be playing his former team. IDK i’m getting a little nervous about that game next week…….and its only Monday, I’ll be a wreak by next Sunday afternoon…….

calm down........calllllm down......
A great blogger on here once said to make things ok again just say 3 “Hail Marinos”. Bad things will turn to good, and once again you will believe in the Pennington.
The Pennington isn’t the same QB he was in his first game, with a new team, against the Jets. He’s a refined Vet with total control and total respect from his team and coach. Say it with me……..“I Believe in the Pennington………I BELIEVE in the PENNINGTON” repeat………….

lol
Say 3 Hail Marino’s, 2 Shula’s Prayer’s, and you’ll be fine. Trust that Pennington won’t press, won’t try to do too much, because that’s not him. He will play within the gameplan, and make the plays asked of him.

wouldnt be suprised to see
the rest of the team pick it up to get CP10 his revenge. Just think of an extra motivated Peezy and Rothweiler on D and an O line that decides today that he will just not be touched at all! Damn I have to change my shorts I am so excited on a Monday for next week!

LOL
Everything is setting up for our team to be so damn fired up they won’t be able to stand still for the National Anthem, while the Jets just stare at their coach and shake their heads in disgust…

It's a nationally televised 4:15pm game
so everybody should be getting it…

it depends if CBS makes this the "main" game
CBS also has Jacksonville/Baltimore at 4:15. but I’d imagine that the Jets-Fins will get top billing nationally.
by Matty I on Dec 22, 2008 5:00 PM EST up reply actions 0 recs
My understanding is
the Network broadcast the same game nationwide on the final week of the season
I hope so being in AZ. Out here the Jets have been televised nearly every week so with the
playoff implications I say it’s nearly a lock. But if you have an AFC team playing the late game in
your area you maybe in trouble.
by ATS16 on Dec 22, 2008 3:13 PM EST up reply actions 0 recs
You would hope so.
The game depends on the area you are in. It is hard to say which game you will gat in AZ, Baltimore or Fins. If you live in the surronding area of a city you will get that game, or like in my case being in NH I will more than likely see the Fins because it affects the Patriots. If you live in Maryland, D.C, VA you more than likely will see Ravens. Denver, being closer than NY or MIA you may get that game.
Either way I am going home to NJ to see the Fins game. Good Luck, go to a sports bar!
