Jets go down!!!

So, with the Jets losing, does that put us in first place? Patriots have the same record, but a worse Conference record, right? Mission 1W!!!! Again, this week shows that Brett Favre is NOT a pro-bowl QB and Chad is. In 10 degree conditions, Chad has 3 touchdowns and 1 pick and Brett throws 2 picks and no TDs! The only worry I have for next week is if Crowder can't go, we are going to be soft in the middle. Thomas Jones has been a beast this year and we can't let him run all over us.

Bring the R&R next week and let's go from worst to first!

Here's a scenario for everyone to chew on...

If we’re in primetime next week, the Jets may be eliminated from the playoffs by kickoff. Win, and NE gets in. Lose, and we do. You think that may have an affect on the Jets psyche for that game? We may get a flat Jets squad with nothing to play for..

I think it would be hard to watch your playoff chances get flushed down the drain, then 3 hours later get up for a chance to play spoiler…

If NE wins, Jets know they are out. K?

Eric Mangini can win and send his bestest friend in the whole wide world, Bill Belicheat onto the playoffs. OR he can lose and keep him out. HHmmmm………

but consider this:

The Fins game isn’t a lock for primetime next week.

The Broncos/Chargers game is now for the division title. Winner goes to playoffs…loser goes home.

They could choose to flex that instead because the Jets don’t control their own playoff fate.

but NY is a major city. I mean it’s New York and these is this east coast bias thing rumored to be going around.

but the NFL might be worried about what might happen if NE wins.

Then NY might not get high ratings because the Jets would be eliminated before kickoff. With SD/Den, the game is guaranteed to matter for BOTH teams…not just 1

i was thinking the same thing.

the Jets HATE the pats. why would they want to help them go to the playoffs. how many players on the Jets still love Pennington. L. Coles does. i wonder if he might be a little distracted when the ball is in the air. maybe take his eyes off it for a minute.

Primetime announcement has to be made 6 days in advance for this game.

So we should know by tomorrow. I’m hoping we get primetime’d, I don’t think anybody outside of Denver/San Diego cares about an 8-8 division winner.

Come on why wouldn't anyone want to see chad versus brett

Chad is going back to the team that let him go for brett for a chance for the playoffs. Plus the fins were 1-15 last year.

Bad decision IMO, the winner of that game will either be 8-8 San Diego, scraping into the playoffs after a terrible season, or 9-7 Denver, barely holding off collapsing in one of the worst divisions in sports.

Exciting stuff right there! May not watch that game..
