The thing that really stuck out to me on this scoring drive was Pennington’s ability to avoid the pressure. You ever heard of phonebook quickness? He’s got it, and it’s really allowing him the extra time to find the open man.

I trust our coaches to adjust much better than Herm will, so I see a change of fortune in the second half. All this shootout crap needs to stop, and the way you stop the spread is to blitz it.

Reality Check
The scoreboard is reality. Without a defense, no we will not win the game. When even the announcers are pointing out the bad play, it’s not a good sign. Maybe they are fairweather fans too….

I’m just as pissed as you that people are already losing faith in this team when it’s so close and our offense is playing so well.
