The New England Patritots will play the Tampa Buccaneers in London next year. One can only hope thats its one of THEIR home games instead of the Bucs home games.
Just gonna throw this quick pole in here, because I gotta put some words down to complete the post. Personally I'm for the latter.
Its time to start thinking about draft positioning. Not ours mind you, the Washington Redskins. We have the Skins 2nd rd draft choice as we all know, my question to you is:

I HATE THIS CRAP
If you want to do games overseas…….then do them in the preseason. This is an absolute flaw with the Goodell leadership. It means nothing! There is no way in hell that its even feasible for the NFL to have European teams as a expansion project. Kill this one on the vine………..NOW!!!

Expansion
Well, we know it would have to be an even number of teams. So, two…
34 total – Not really feasible for division plays
So, go to 4 – 36 total teams…4 9 team Divisions? 9 4 team Divisions – can’t do it, uneven conferences. So, you go to 6, 6 team divisions.
You end up back with the AFC East, Central, West., and the same for the NFC.
Where would you put those 4 new teams, and make them viable….
1 – San Antonio? Proved it could handle a team on a short term basis. Would be a decent city. Small, but so is Green Bay. But, another Texas team.
2 – Oklahoma City? Smack in the middle. No real team close by – Dallas 4 hours away, KC 8. Not a huge market, but would be okay.
3 – Portland? Rough sell. I think Portland would love a team, but Seattle would be up in arms.
4 – Orlando? Good market base. Smack in the middle of the JAX, TAMPA, MIA power struggle though. Don’t see the NFL adding a 4th FL team.
5 – Toronto? Looking for a team. Bills would scream.
6 – Montreal? I don’t think it would survive here.
7 – LA? Already lost team more times than I can count. NFL wants the market, but the market doesn’t care.
8 – Chicago? Could Chicago pull off a 2nd Team?
9 – El Paso/Albequrque (sp?) – Inetersting market area. Nothing near it except Arizona. I think it’s too small for the NFL to be viable.
10 – Honolulu? Could HI ever actually get a team? Road games would suck for them, and home games would suck for the visitors.
Anyway, I don’t think the NFL needs to expand, nor should it. Just thought I would write something about it as I sat here.

Didn’t mean to escalate like that. I was just bored and the idea intrigued me. Just started thinking of cities that could/would compete for teams.
It could be interesting to go back to 3 Division per conference, because I think we get Indy back in the East. Not sure I would want them back, though.

He was DIE HARD Miami Dolphin and busted his ass for this team. To diss him because of last year really just sucks. He had no idea what was going to happen after the Cam moron debacle. He did the best for himself that he could. Jason Taylor rocks in my book, he was an awesome Dolphin and did fantastic things for us……..and when he retires…….he’ll be wearing Dolphin colors as he walks away.

I agree Husker… and hearing alleged Dolphin fans put him down after what he has done for this franchise is a shame.. not going to get into this in depth..but Taylor rocks and it hurt to see him go but I understood.. Thomas’ departure really hurt too but that’s the business sometimes… look at FaRVe and Montana, even Thurman Thomas (who came to Miami to end his career!)…all of them are greats who did wonders for their teams and due to “the business side” of the game, had to move on.. such is life..but that doesn’t change what the player did for the team…

B) Please please please please please no more international regular season games. It’s a joke. The NFL will not go overseas. It won’t happen. How many teams would you put over there? Can’t just put 1, because then they’re at a huge disadvantage in every single road game, having to travel for like 10 hours just to get to the east coast games. They would have an unfair advantage playing at home, because teams would have to fly the same distance to them. They couldn’t play anybody east of Tenn because the flight would be like 100 hours. Won’t happen. Stop playing over there, unless it’s a preseason game. Do it in week 3 of the preseason when the starters go 3 quarters so they still get a decent game.
