PrintDoes anyone have any idea where Ernest Wilford is?
Hes always inactive, but i dont ever remember him getting injured. Is he unable to learn the playbook as a WR, or does he just have an attitude problem that Parcells doesnt like?
Hes a big WR that we could use, whats his deal? if anyone has any insight please respond.
Big win! It was very ugly after the first 15 minutest, but were 5-4, ill take it.

worthless. He’s benched because he couldn’t even catch a cold.

hes so bad that we cant even activate him?
oh well, ginn is emerging, and i like that camarillo is proving to be very clutch. And this kid London has the potential to be a big play guy. im starting to like chad pennington beause hes careful with the ball (which we havent had in years) , but once we settle on our qb of the future, hopefully henne, we need to make sure we get a guy whos got a gun to get our speedsters the ball.

my only concern...
which your probably aware, you seem like u know what ur talkin about, is how much we payed this guy to come here from jville. im not questioning parcells, cause as far as im concerned, hes made every right move imaginable, ie. getting fasano adoyele and someone else for a 4th rd pick……….but i hate wasting money on a guy we never even let dress

thanks for the " u know what ur talkin about". My point is……if this is the worst mistake we made this year, then thats pretty f’n good. We didn’t have a real pure canvas on which to paint if you know what I mean. There’s still season left….and who knows. Did you expect Cobbs to do so well? Or Fasano? Or Martin? Or Ayodele? Its just the process, the growing pains. One thing about this regime, they WILL correct the problems and make them positives. Be patient bro……..its not the worse thing that could have happened.

That’s pretty much it…it’s been an experiment with many tweaks and tests and this one didn’t work out…it’s really too bad it’s costing a mil or two plus the six mil for the signing bonus..but this stuff happens! I would have liked to have at least seen him play a little bit first in acutal games but I trust the staff and what they see in practice that we don’t.. I’ve posted on spots on this site about Wilford so I wont go on again here about the reasons he’s not playing..but yeah, you’re right… for the roster mistakes made all year..if this is the worst…that’s pretty damn good!

Wilford
Its pretty simple … he doesn’t play special teams so the coaches havn’t activated him for many games. they have put in Deven Hess who returns punts and Brandon London instead who makes plays on the Special teams unit as well as being a large body WR just like Wilford. Wilford will never get on the field until he beats out Camarillo for the 2nd WR spot. This is the same reason why we never saw Hagan active for the games either.
