"The odds are always against you no matter what your previous history is. You have to overcome the tendency to relax."- Tom Osborne

Its a signature that I picked for myself going into this game.  Read it and really understand what it means.  You can't get lax.  You have to take each game on no matter what your record is.  Especially when you're doing good and have had some success.

How many times in the past in the NFL or in football in general have we seen this happen?  A team going strong, facing a supposed weaker opponent that the fans look at and say  "this will be an easy W".  Only to see your team look like they've forgotten everything that they've accomplished and simply lay a big ole egg.  Leaving you, the fan, pissed off and wondering what the hell happened.  We've all seen it.  With our team and around the NFL.

I think this Coach, this staff, this whole new outlook of Team Miami Dolphin won't let us down this weekend.  I read this at Miami after I chose that neat little sig for myself and thought, "yea, this Coach just ain't gonna let that happen."

''I want to see absolute attention to detail and focus right now,'' Dolphins coach Tony Sparano said. 'We've been down this road before. We've won two games and we kind of drank the Kool-Aid a little bit and then we lost two of them. Now we've won a couple, so we can't do that. We can't worry about everybody telling us `what a good job you did' right now. We need to keep our head down and really keep swinging.''

Pretty awesome.  Sparano gets "IT".  The Coach that isn't going to accept yesterdays success as a free pass to great things tomorrow.  It has to be earned, every game, every play, ALL the time!  You see this with recent moves by the coaching staff.  If you're not doing it, you will be replaced, if not cut.  If the team buys what Coach is selling, and I honestly think they do, then watch out (fill in other team here).  You're going to get the best Team Miami Dolphin has to offer.

Come Sunday, I really feel that this team is going to "click".  They have a home game to open up the second half of the season and they want to get off the 2 games bad, 2 games good, rollercoaster and establish themselves.  I really believe they will.  Listen to the sound of the hits, watch the intensity of the play, and we should be able to see what kind of team we will have in the future, regardless of who we play, no matter what their record is, no matter what our record is.  Every game, every play, ALL the time!

Go Dolphins!
