Huge slate of College games on today, and since we're having a good week so far with live threads (every night but Thanksgiving), let's keep it up. I'll be flipping back and forth all day long, got a bunch of games on this afternoon. Canes are playing. Gators are on. Oklahoma vs Oklahoma St. Virginia and VATech. The Bayou Classic. South Carolina and Clemson. Georgia and Georgia Tech. Lot of good games today, lots of good players, and just a day of football to warm up for the Dolphins tomorrow.

i might be able to do some here and there, but I’ve got errands to run and crap before I can sit down and watch some football. Man, the Husker game was a 6 pack-er yesterday! Hey, an fyi for you. In our paper today, it said Nebraska might be going to the Gator Bowl, and possible opponents might be: Miami, Florida State, Rutgers or Pittsburgh…lol I hope its Pittsburgh, just cause I want to make Wansteads day hell. Don’t think NU can match up to Miami or Florida State just yet, and would hate to take grief from you guys… : ) Rutgers might be a good game too, be a lot of red, thats for sure.

It was a lot of fun watching them beat VT and WVU
but I think most Pirate fans new we’d lose to someone we shouldn’t, like NC State, eventually. Even Skip Holtz was telling his players to enjoy the moment. It was a lot of fun, he’s building a great football team, he just needs to stop bringing in delinquents. We’ve lost a few RBs and WRs for breaking team rules.

Virginia-VT Game
Tyrod Taylor scrambled for a first, but was gang tackled by 3 Virginia defenders… in the process they lifted him off the ground and flipped him over in unison. Funny, weird looking tackle.
They were all laughing about it once they got up.

he’s a stud. But I think that even if he drops to us wherever we’re picking, we won’t be taking him unless all the good Safeties and Nose Tackles are gone. I think those will be our biggest priorities in round 1, if only because of how Ginn has come around and the dependence on the TE’s and RB’s when the offense is run correctly..
If it was up to me, I’m taking Maclin before the Commish says we’re even on the clock, but Parcells and Ireland know where our weakest points are, and they know that Ferguson won’t be around much longer. I think they will still continue to build in the trenches, and if they don’t it’s because they either have a playmaking LB fall to them, or decide to upgrade the secondary with a FS or CB.

Gators blowing the Seminoles out
They’ll have a ton of momentum going into the SEC Championship vs Bama.
Tebow is back in the Heisman race, although it’ll probably take another GREAT performance vs Alabama, and McCoy/Bradford to lay eggs in their games.
Missouri could play spoiler in the Big XII. If they win the Conference Championship, USC or Penn St. will probably end up in the National Title Game.

true......but they just got beat by Kansas......
they won’t have the same vim and vigour against OU or Texas. Gonna be some pissed off Big 12 south fans when they decide that one. If Texas Tech wins, and OU wins….be a 3 way tie at 11-1 which will be decided by BCS rankings. Tech is struggling against Baylor right now, don’t see them being in the Big 12 championship game. Sounds far fetched right now, but its possible you see OU vs Texas in the National Championship game

Oklahoma vs Oklahoma St.
USC vs Notre Dame
Plenty of guys to watch in these games.
Taylor Mays (USC) and Nic Harris (OKLA) are two safeties that will most likely be first round picks. Two big, fast ballhawks back there. Mays will most likely be Top 10 and out of our range, but keep your eyes on Harris, he will probably be around when we pick in the first, and possibly in the second.
Bradford and Sanchez will both probably end up in the draft, but we won’t be in the market for a QB that high.
Juaquin Iglesias (OKLA) is a pretty good WR prospect. Good hands, good route runner, decent speed. Patrick Turner is a big body – 6’5 220 – WR for USC.

because even some of the minor bowls can end up getting Championship runners-up. Like whoever wins the ACC will be in the Orange Bowl, but the loser will have a crappy record and end up in the Weedwacker Bowl, or the Toilet Bowl, or the Cereal Bowl.

Meaning this is probably the last season they can get that huge 1st round money. If you’re gonna get drafted, you leave school this year. but it’s a bit a reach since it’s not a very deep position in the draft… I mean you have Mauluga from USC, but he’ll most likely be gone. There’s Selvie from USF, but I’m not sure he could stand up, since he plays the 4-3 end there. And Michael Johnson from GATech. Pretty raw, but off-the-chart measurables, 6-7 255, 4.5 speed.
