On A Fine Line

In browsing through a few articles on some of the major sports/nfl sites I came across this one on nfl.com.
It's basically an article about the "playoff picture" in the AFC and a breakdown of team by team that is currently in that picture. It sorts them into three categories - The Lock, In Good Standing and On a Fine Line.
Miami is listed as the first team that is "On a Fine Line" and here is the paragraph about them:
On a fine line
Miami (6-4, tied for second AFC East): The Wildcats are looking like a wild card. Miami has just two remaining home games, none being more crucial than Sunday's matchup against New England. A Dolphins victory and season sweep, would actually give them a two-game edge over the Patriots (6-4) because of the tie-breaker. Efficient quarterback Chad Pennington, the two-headed tailback tandem of Ricky Williams and Ronnie Brown and a defense that hasn't allowed more than 19 points in any of its past four games signals Miami could be built for more than just getting into postseason play. From one win in 2007 to possibly at least one win in the playoffs. It could happen.

Very interesting and once again rests on the magnitude of this weekend's matchup. What I like to hear is the end where he states that Miami could be built for more then "just" getting into the playoffs! That's right..they're built to go on a playoff RUN and to continue this improbable season.
The title pretty much says it all though...it is true; as much as this team is doing and as far as they've come, there is a "fine line" between making that incredible playoff push and being just a "good story" of the season that made a valiant effort to make history... and it all really starts with this Sunday. tick, tick, tick.....

playoff pic
the colts have such an easy remaining schedule. easier than ours. i dont see how they dont get in as a wilcard. that means 1 slot left if we dont win the division. i think it would come down to us vs. baltimore, assuming we beat NE. luckily they have a tough finishing schedule.
technically..
the colts SOS (strength of schedule) is a few points higher then ours so we still have the easiest schedule but I see what you’re saying…and I fully agree..if we don’t win the division, it’s going to be tough! especially with Baltimore having the tie-breaker with us! Let’s hope it doesn’t come down to that…
