Had someone ask me how to post a picture and I know alot of you know how but some do not. Help them. I need everyone to post a picture. keep it pg-13.

First it's best to have your pictures saved in a picture type database because linking to picture might fail but its rare. photobucket.com works nicely but yeah.

kk find a picture and right click and click propertys.Find the url address, hold down left mouse and drag accross HTTP-.jp or .gif see below.

Step1_medium

Step2_medium

Right click mouse on highlighted text and click copy. then close the picture.

When your ready to post.. Click on image icon (gold tree thingy)and look for the image prompt to show up.

Step3_medium

When this image prompt shows..below.

Step4_medium

Right click in the highlighted http;// and paste then hit ok. walllaa your done.

Like stated up there.

It’s best to have your pics in photobucket only to keep it from disapearing if someone else pulls the pic. but you did great Krab.

guys, host your images via photobucket/image shack

Don’t inline link images.

When you just use the web address where the image is hosted, you are inline linking and using up someone else’s bandwidth. If, due to the extra views, the original site goes over its bandwidth, it could be charged.

its not polite and may end in DMCA issues.

when you use this method...

and use the “address” listed on the properties, that file is being read from that web sites server. Bandwidth is the amount of data transfer required to display that image. Web sites pay for hosting that allots them a certain amount of bandwidth. By linking that image elsewhere, you are basically stealing that website’s bandwidth as they are paying for it and you are using it.

Good point.

Website have a certain amount of bandwidth (space) and linking can eat that up and some site will display a message ifstead of the pic if this happens.

save the image to your desktop and host it on a free hosting site such as imageshack or photobucket

yes, because photobucket and imageshack are free image hosting sites and using their bandwidth is within their terms of service.

Open a photobucket account as its free.

You can right click on most pictures and save to your computer then upload to photobucket.

Imageshack is good to I hear. Both are free and I use mine alot as you can tell. But I’m glad others are learning to post pics. It can add depth to blogs as sometimes spelled out words can seem so.. bland.

you have the option when someone post

to “recommend” it. rec’d. If you get 3 rec’d’s, it goes on the recommended board at the top of the post board. Hope this helps

There are a few tutorials online that can help new peeps. and some online videos. Photoshop can be time consuming but its fun.

i hear ya.

but Q wants out, and his agent already said he doesn’t think he plays for AZ next year. The Cards want to keep him (of course) but they’ve got to pay Fitz and maybe Warner, and whoever else. I don’t see how they can give him the contract he wants, so he may be trade bait.
When i think of trading draft picks, there are very few guys I would be willing to trade for, but Q is on the short list for all the reasons you named.
Dude is a proven #1, who is WAY tough, with speed, and is consistent. He is also young, and has a good attitude. How could you not want to trade even your 1st rounder for a proven young Pro Bowler at a position of need?
I would totally be up for trading for him.

Save that picture to a file on your puter. Remember where it is of course. Click on your name here at the Phinsider, go to “EDIT PROFILE”. Where it says “profile image”, click “browse” and find the file where you saved your pic, double click the pic. Go to the bottom of the page and click “update”. This should do it. Hope this helps! It’s always best to host your own pictures. Because of bandwith and you have control over your pic. If you link to a site and they pull the pic then you lose the link.
