"Reasons to beat the Dolphins, part I"

So I guess Fins Fans are the number one reason to beat the Patriots according to Pats Pulpit, why?

'Fins Fans - All of a sudden, it's cool to like the Dolphins.  Where was the pride and support when they were a laughing stock?  True fans wear their jersey no matter what and take their lumps.  True fans know, everything turns around at some point.

As I said on the site, it was cool to be a Fins fan then, and its even cooler to be one now.

I swear I didn't even know Pats fans existed until they won the Superbowl after viewing that tape of the Rams walk through in 2001, alledgedlly ofcourse

Yeah its the same crap from the self righteous Pats fans.  You want to talk about sticking with a team, where were are their asses in the 3rd quarter in Fauxborough when Ronnie Brown owned their asses?

Your thoughts guys?

don't say "dicks" and "slice it" in the same sentence.

makes you sound like lorena bobbitt.
;^)

Oh yeah… Pats fans have the intelligence of a flatworm. Why would we care what they try to think?

Just more ammunition

For them to shoot themselves in the foot with, they are jealous that this year Miami is taking up the media space that they think should be theirs.
Also they are finding that the “loyal” fans are abandoning them now they aren’t winning all the time.

Boston

the biggest whiners in sports. The Red Sox choked forever up until 04. The Pats were a doormat until Brady. Can’t say shit about the Celtics, but seriously… it’s basketball.

Now all the sudden they invented sports and they have the greatest teams and players of ALL-TIME. It’s sickening. I’d honestly rather hang out with a Jets fan (if I had to choose such a hellish segment of my life) than a Pats fan anyday. At least they’re loyal, and at least most of em know their team and are smart enough to have a football conversation..

Ugh I can’t believe I just defended Jets fans… But that’s how bad Pats fans are…
I apologize to those who read this and became sick. I’ve said my penance.

I believe Jets fans are worse

You can’t blame Boston fans, they went through many years of sucking and they finally win only to find out that their precious Patsies cheated. It would be like fucking the prom queen only to find out she has AIDS. Well crazy comparison but you know what I’m saying.

Hey

It’s like Sparano says, when we win, we’re humble.

When it comes down to it… I can’t stand either

I think the Super Bowl point is the best

I have been a Dolphins fan since the day I was born. I wore my jerseys all last year. Ever week that I could, even when we were getting destroyed, I was sitting in front of my TV, in a jersey and hat, rooting for my team.

Hell, I deployed a Miami Dolphins flag to Iraq, even though last year was as bad as it was.

So don’t tell me that Dolphins fans aren’t passionate about their team.

Where were all these “fans” throughout the 80’s and 90’s? I mean, the only time I saw any fans get behind the Pats was on that 1986 Super Bowl debacle as the Bears killed them! After that, nothing….crickets….silence. Not even Drew Bledsoe could make them excited. It wasn’t until The Golden Boy took the team to the Super Bowl that they suddenly had “fans”.

And, that’s enough of a rant from me.

No doubt about it though,

we need a full stadium on Sunday to silence this kind of bull. Too many empty seats this season so far, even with the recession and terribad last few years. The Patriots aren’t shit in Boston compared to the Celtics and Red Sox anyway, so they need to shut the eff up. They didn’t have fans till 2001.

Still, I’m almost more nervous about the fans representing on Sunday than I am about the team – I know they’ll do their part.

And having been to both Boston and New York multiple times, I can honestly say Patriot fans are the worst. Only time I was ever kicked out of a cab for defending my team from mindless bullshit from another fan was with a Gaytriot cabbie in Boston. Was picked up by a Haitian cabbie right away, so it’s all good. I don’t let people badmouth the fins, lol.

Football isn't a matter of life and death - it's far more important than that.

Yea there were Pats

fans before the Super Bowl but only for the first few weeks of the season while they got over there Red Sox melt down. By the mid way point they were on the Celtics bandwagon until they starting sucking. The Pats fan’s are the worse fans in Football IMO but I’m bias because I had to leave in there city…..

A Phin's Fan through and through -

Been a hard-core fan for almost 25 years and have never wavered a bit.. I show my colours and pride for my team no matter what we’ve gone through…especially LAST YEAR! Now, thankfully, we as Miami fans haven’t had to endure a lot of hardship over the years because we’ve been a good team for so long.
Regardless of the down year, I wore my jersey’s and roughed it out hoping for this exact scenario to happen this year…it’s so rare something like this happens, so that makes it special…
Now, unfortunately not all of us (Dolphins fans) are die-hards and roughing out the bad years but I think we have less fairweather fans that most other teams..and that’s something to be proud of!

I can say

In my life of moving around (my Dad was in the Army before I was, so I have lived all over the country/world my entire life), it is amazing how, no matter where you go, there are Dolphins fans there. There may be a smattering of some other teams fans, but in the middle of Kansas CIty, you can find DolFans. In Germany – DolFans. In Colorado Springs – DolFans. We are every where!

Yessir

that’s why the NFL sent us to London last year for the first international game… we have a huge fan club over there.

I agree

Our fanbase is HUGE.. we really are a GLOBAL team and I’m fairly certain we are one of the top teams in the world in not THE top team.. I’ d love to see some wide scale poll done in several major countries that could get an idea of the numbers
