talking out of his ass

the quarterback is the best player on the team? come on. if anything, the dolphins are doing well by placing their best player as “quarterback”. Pennington has to stay on the field because that would just complicate the subs situation and he’s a decoy WR option. 11 plays for 50 yards is pretty damn good. there need to be more variations on what they have out there right now, but I can see this working long term. I would like to have Jayson Foster involved in this formation since he can do everything.

Jason Taylor

is a better dancer than Warren Sapp, too!

Eh, who cares what Sapp thinks? He needs to stick to what he’s good at: making fantasy football commercials.

Sapp.....

….is a d-bag. This is the same guy that injured a player and ended his season with a cheap shot that was 40 yards away from the play and told a COACH to put on a uniform when said coach confronted him about it. While Sapp (perfect name for him if you ask me) may feel that the Wildcat is disrespectful to all defenses, I think his past actions are disrespectful to ALL players and fans. Ask Chad Clifton what he thinks is a bigger disrespect in the NFL….the Wildcat or players trying to hurt each other.

Also, Phil Simms can lick my taint. “so they’re trying to do a lot of things to get yards, to fool the defense,” What does he think the point of football is???

you know whats disrepectfull to the NFL?????

not brushing your teeth….cuz everyone says his mouth smells like the bottom of a toilet seat in a rest stop.

also disrespectfull….not just going away. sapp left the bucs what 6 years ago? he has sucvked since then.,….to me he retired in 2003. he sucked since then. fatass bitch

wow

why are these guys on TV?
Phil Simms says “The Miami Dolphins have trouble getting offense, so they’re trying to do a lot of things to get yards, to fool the defense. They don’t have playmakers outside right now at the wide receiver position. But when it’s all said and done, it got less than 50 yards of total offense for the Miami Dolphins last week.”

Holy Sh!t. That could be the most ignorant statement I’ve heard all season. If we had trouble getting offense, we wouldn’t have put up 38 points on NE, we wouldn’t have beaten SD by running out the final 6 minutes with a sustained grind-it-out drive. So we’re doing a lot of things to fool the defense? Really? Running a basic scheme that’s been around forever and is run by colleges, high schools, and even youth teams is gonna fool NFL defenses? That makes sense? Gimme a break, Phil. You’re an idiot. It got less than 50 yards of offense last week haha, we only ran it 11 times. That’s just under 5 yards per play, all runs. Last I checked 5 yards a carry was damn good. Just shut up.

What idiots!

If it was something wrong to do, the NFL wouldnt allow it. I think it adds a little excitement to the game when teams do trick plays (flea flickers, fake spikes, or statue of liberty play) or in this case add new wrinkles to their offense (as long as theyre not doing it against us : ). Its all a part of football, getting the ball in the endzone. Its a hell of alot fairer than video taping other teams signals from the stands.

Why the hell did they bring these idiots to Inside the NFL and get rid of Costas, Carter, and Marino? I like Brown and Collingsworth, but Sapp and Simms Cmon. I miss the days with Len Dawson and Nick Buoniconti.

PFT got ir right

http://www.profootballtalk.com/2008/10/09/sapp-says-wildcat-is-disrespectful/

its just as disrespectful as going w/ an empty backfield and saying we’re going to pass, so stop us.

by YatilGinnJr on Oct 10, 2008 12:16 AM EDT reply actions   0 recs

matter of fact

its less disrespectful b/c we have passed out of it and theoritcally we could toss it back to Pennington. Unless you have a running QB there is no way to run out of empty set.

It's not a difficult leap

To realize that Michael Vick pretty much ran this same offense without the unbalanced line…just with the QB label.
